I currently have some extra hours available on a Wednesday from 11-15:30 Looking for a weekly client somewhere between/around the Ebberston-Scarborough area. I can provide all aspects of personal care including washing and dressing as well as prompting with medications, shopping, cooking and meal prepping, house cleans, laundry, dog walking etc. I have experience with both dementia and Alzheimer’s and put time and care into forming a trusting and long lasting relationship with all my clients and their families. My rates are £20p/h and my minimum time per visit is 2 hours. My background and what I can provide:

I have previously been employed in a care home and while I enjoyed my time there I found I often felt too rushed to really get to know the residents and provide the best care for them. This is why I have decided to become a self-employed home carer. As I am not working for an agency I will have no time limits and will be able to provide care tailored to each of my clients. I run a smallholding with my sister so will only be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. If any of my clients would like to visit and spend time with the animals or in the gardens they would be very welcome to! I have also worked as a cleaner and cook in the past. I can provide help with any day to day activity my clients may need. This includes (but is not limited to!) assistance with washing and dressing, meal prepping and cooking, cleaning, laundry, dog walking and gardening. I would also love to help my clients improve their quality of life by helping them to access and engage in their hobbies or taking them on local trips out.

I am committed to forming a good relationship with each of my clients (and their families if necessary) and am therefore offering free 30 minute meetings in the client's home to properly discuss their needs and ensure I am a good fit for them.
