New College Durham will be running a new course:
Preparing For Teaching Assistant

Eligibility:
Clients have to be 19 or over as of August 31st 2025
Clients must live in a Tees Valley postcode area

🤩 Our customers are at the centre of everything we do, and last week our Employability team has supported people in a range of ways - here's a round-up of our most recent Quick Victories!

⭐ Andrew has been supporting two customers who've now been offered an interview with Wetherspoons!

⭐ Laura & Debbie have supported residents at The Shore by arranging wellbeing sessions. Residents took part in rock painting and digital skills improvement activities. They expressed that they love the sessions, and that their confidence has improved so much over the past few weeks.

⭐ Kirsty said 'One of our Westfield Farm volunteers, has gone above and beyond by buddying up with a new volunteer. They have been super at helping them to settle in - their kindness and support has truly made a difference.'

⭐Jon has been supporting a Beyond Housing customer who spent two years out of work while caring for their child. The customer has now started volunteering and has already secured an interview as a Youth Project Worker - a fantastic outcome!
