Day 1 spent looking at the key principles for completing a deadlift:

๐Ÿ”ท Feet Placement & Feet Rotation
๐Ÿ”ท Bar Placement and Grip
๐Ÿ”ท Set Position and Identifying Weaknesses
๐Ÿ”ท Posture through the lift
๐Ÿ”ท Speed and weight control

This coupled with set stretches to open up the hip flexors, glute muscles, hamstrings, quads, abductors, adductors, lats, traps and lower back & Exercises on how to strengthen these areas.

Within 5 weeks you will be confident enough to complete these exercises on your own and understand how to alter your lift towards the perfect deadlift

Mark has started his 2023 with amazing focus and has already started hitting his long term goals. Today marked a huge success for Mark hitting a long term target of a 200kg Deadlift, not only that managed 210kg for 3 reps!

We work within Everyone Active to deliver the Exercise referral scheme in both the โ€œScarborough Sports Villageโ€ and โ€œRyedale Swim & Fitnessโ€. This is a specialist service for GP referred patients to safely exercise to improve health for chronic conditions, some of the conditions that we work with are:

Osteoarthritis, Hypertension, Diabetes, Strokes, Cardiac Rehab, COPD, MSK conditions (musculoskeletal), Depression, Anxiety, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, Asthma, Angina, Physical Disabilities.
