The family of Michael ‘Mike’ Scrase who passed away on 15/8/25 have asked me to share the funeral arrangements….
Service to be held at Woodlands Crematorium on Monday 1st September at 3pm. Family flowers only but donation box at service for St Catherine’s.

From today (25 March) the way you need to register a death has changed.

All death registration appointments now need to be in person at one of our registration offices and can no longer be over the phone.

We would ask that where possible only one person attends the appointment.

In April 2020 the regulations for death registration were changed as part of the governments response to Covid-19. This regulation has now ended. It is still a requirement for the Doctors Medical Certificate to be sent to us electronically rather than given to you prior to the appointment.

Pleased to say that John and I received our COVID-19 jabs today. Thank you NHS for recognising that funeral operatives are front line staff and need protecting too.
Hope all our other colleagues get theirs soon.
