Gavin Wakeham - Sports Massage

I have recently sucessfully completed my Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy, this now enables me to acess injury, treat and carry out rehabilitaton plans.

After being in the Army for 24yrs and having worked for the local authority for 11yrs, I decided I wanted to dedicate the next phase of my life doing something that I'm passionate about and what energises me. Having sustained several major sports related injuries myself over the years, my mind really craved to understand how I could stop degeneration, recover from injuries and treat dysfunction. This led me to complete VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy, which I completed in 2018, Having successfully attained this qualification, I am now currently in the process of studying towards my Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy qualification. As well as Sports Massage, I will also be able to plan, provide and evaluate sports massage treatments for both pre and post inter event, maintenance and restorative purposes using a range of massage techniques.
