Good morning from everyone at Eagle View Care Home! ☀️

Today we’re kicking things off with some armchair exercises set to a few tunes we all know and love — but with a slightly more upbeat twist! 💃

Don’t worry… the chairs are staying put, but the arms will definitely be getting a workout.

Who says you need a gym membership when you’ve got good music and great company? 💪🎶

This afternoon we’re very excited because we’re welcoming a brand new entertainer, Nathan Badger, to Eagle View! 🎤

We’ll be greeting him with open arms and big smiles, ready for a lovely performance, a little dance, and of course a good old sing-along.

If you hear some questionable high notes… that’s just us joining in enthusiastically! 😄

It’s shaping up to be a day full of music, laughter, and maybe a few surprise dance moves. Watch this space… we might even discover the next Strictly champion in the lounge! 🕺✨

Muhammad and Alison were showing off some of their moves along to the Indian music after enjoying some tasty snacks.

Muhammad… you’ve definitely got the moves 💃🕺 Alison, however… we’ll just say you brought the enthusiasm 🤣

The residents had a brilliant laugh, there were plenty of colourful vibes, great music, and even better dance moves (some more polished than others!).

🥧 It’s National Pie Week! 🥧

This week we’re celebrating in the tastiest way possible!

Our wonderful chef has treated our lovely residents to a homemade steak pie today — and by gum, it is definitely mouth-watering! 😋

We’ve also included a little sneak peek of the delicious chicken pie he makes too. Golden pastry, rich fillings, and made with care — what’s not to love?

There are many more varieties he creates, but sadly we can’t have them all at once… or can we? 😉

Our Bingo Divas were out in full force – dabbers at the ready, lucky charms in handbags, and competitive spirits VERY much switched on! 👀💄

For anyone who didn’t fancy the pressure of a full house, Alexa was blasting the classics – Connie Francis and all the diva favourites. Let’s just say there was as much singing as there was shouting “BINGO!” 🎶

Number 13 might be unlucky for some… but not for our ladies – unless someone else nicks the prize first! 😉

This morning we’re enjoying a lively game of bingo – eyes down! 🎉💛
“Tweak of the Thumb” – number 51!

This afternoon we’re celebrating the vibrant Holi Indian Festival. Our wonderful chef is preparing some delicious treats for us to try, including onion bhajis, samosas, poppadoms with onion chutney, and cooling raita.💜

We’ll also be enjoying some fantastic Indian music and having a dance to really get into the spirit of the celebration. It’s set to be a colourful and joyful day here at Eagleview!🧡

There’s been lots of smiles, laughter, and a little bit of pampering going on! Our lovely residents enjoyed some well-deserved treats and are looking fabulous with their fresh new hairdos.💛

This afternoon here at Eagleview Care Home has been full of fun, laughter and friendly competition! 🧩🎲

Our residents enjoyed a variety of jigsaws, games and dominoes, keeping minds active and spirits high. We had a lovely mix of 1-to-1 games as well as group activities, giving everyone the chance to join in and enjoy some quality time together.🧡

This morning we had so much fun with some inflatable bowling! 🎳

We went round the room inviting everyone who wanted to join in, and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces getting involved.

There were some great throws, lots of cheers, and plenty of laughter along the way. A brilliant way to start the day and get everyone moving!

It’s been a wonderfully busy morning here at Eagleview! 🌸

Alison and Charlotte have been hard at work decorating the home in preparation for the vibrant Holi Indian Festival tomorrow. The colours are looking beautiful and we can’t wait to celebrate!

We’ve also have great fun this morning with giant inflatable bowling, with music playing all around the home to keep everyone smiling and moving. 🎳🎶

This afternoon it’s Board Games Tuesday, along with some relaxing jigsaw time — perfect for a cosy and sociable afternoon together. ♟️🧩

There’s nothing more special than seeing her light up with joy while everyone gathered around to sing and celebrate her big day.🧡

This afternoon we had the best time playing our favourite game — Bingo! 🎉✨

There’s nothing like the excitement of waiting for your numbers to be called, the laughs around the table, and that competitive buzz when someone is just one number away! And of course… today’s classic call of “Baker’s Bun – 61!” had everyone smiling. 🍩😂

For those who didn’t fancy playing, we had Amazon Alexa on in the background, keeping the tunes going and creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. 🎶

A perfect afternoon filled with fun, chatter, and plenty of good company. We can’t wait for the next round! 💛
