Here at Eagleview Care Home, we’re lucky to have some very special guests who visit us every day — our friendly seagulls!

They often pop by the top window, sometimes several times throughout the day, and always bring smiles, laughter, and plenty of conversation. Watching them has become a lovely daily highlight for our residents.

It’s a lovely day of music and memories here at Eagleview!

This morning, we’re enjoying one of our all-time favourites — Bingo! 🎉 Alongside the fun, we’re listening to some great tunes from Buddy Holly and other much-loved artists.

This afternoon, we’ll be taking a trip down memory lane 💭✨ with a special music afternoon, featuring wonderful songs from the 1940s and other iconic artists along the way. A perfect time to reminisce, sing along, and enjoy shared memories.

This morning our residents enjoyed getting creative by decorating biscuits with colourful icing and lots of sprinkles 🍪🎨. These tasty treats will be enjoyed later this afternoon with refreshments.

This afternoon it’s time for Bingo – a real favourite here at Eagleview! 🏆 There’s plenty of fun, laughter, and of course the chance to win some delicious chocolates.

🌧️ What’s happening at Eagleview today 🌧️

Despite the stormy weather outside, it’s a warm and busy day here at Eagleview!

👓 Vision Care are with us today, testing the eyes of our remaining residents who were due an eye test – and possibly helping them choose a brand-new pair of glasses. Alison will be supporting Vision Care and our residents throughout the day.

📺🎶 Inside the home, we’ll also be enjoying a cosy TV morning with some music on, creating a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere for everyone.

Please remember to wrap up well if you’re heading out – it’s quite stormy out there!

Today we’re celebrating what would have been Elvis Presley’s 91st birthday 🎂🎤

We’ll be reminiscing about the King of Rock ’n’ Roll and enjoying a selection of his classic hits throughout the day. Memories, music, and plenty of toe-tapping guaranteed!

🎨 This afternoon, our residents will be getting creative with some arts and crafts, enjoying a relaxed and fun session together.
