Thats wrap on the Whitby Hot Chocolate Festival ☕️ What an awesome job all of our Volunteers did on showing the public how CPR is done. Grace will be feeling all those compressions from her 3 days of hard work! ❤️

After all, thats our bread and butter 💪 anyone of any age, physical ability and background can learn CPR and make a difference when it matters, and our Volunteers are incredibly passionate about ensuring that the percentage of people who dont know CPR decreases! 👇

What an amazing turn out from the Pickering community for the Christmas Light Switch on! 🎅🎄

It was cold ❄️ (Abbie regularly used the term "nithered" whenever she didnt have a hot chocolate in her hand) but that didnt stop us and everyone else from having a boogie and enjoying the festivities💃 🎠

A huge thank you to Pickering Town Council for their very generous £100 donation to the Network and our fundraising efforts! Working alongside them at Pickering's amazing events this year has been fabulous! 💚🚑

The Coast and Moors Network are busy across the county today! If your visiting the Hot Chocolate Festival at Whitby today, you will be able to see some of our Volunteers demonstrating CPR and other life saving skills to the public. 💚

Or maybe you're visiting Pickering for their magical Christmas Light Switch On 🎄🎠 this afternoon. If so you will see our First Aiders on patrol to keep everyone safe and well, but also a crew of volunteers doing demonstrations too!

"Lest we forget"

It was the greatest honour to support the Pickering Rememberance Parade today and an even bigger honour to have our very own Event Nurse, Abbie lay a wreath to remember all those who gave their today so we could have our tomorrow.

All those involved should be incredibly proud of themselves for the oustanding job they did.

🗨 The TV shows make it look so simple!

These are all things that our Volunteers have heard whilst demonstrating CPR. But the thing is... Not trying at all is more dangerous then trying your best. We arent all doctors and nurses, but we can be life savers anyway!

Our wonderful volunteers are working very hard in lowering the percentage of people who feel unconfident with CPR. How do we do that?

🚑 We hold demonstration for local community groups, schools, colleges, country shows, and events ect, where we show them how to preform CPR and answering any questions or worries people have around Defibs, CPR and much more.
🩺 We have Cadet Units to train youth members to become Community First Aiders, and Emergency Responders to bridge the gap in knowledge between young people and adults.
👩‍🦰 We are constantly recruiting new volunteers and providing training to them to ensure they are confident and competent first aiders with the ability to demonstrate and perform CPR and much more.
⚕️ We provide extensive First Aid courses to businesses and corporations to ensure their workings are able to help with First aid at work.

We had a fabulous (if not slightly busy) day at the Pickering 1940s Weekend! 💚

Thank you to all the members of the public who stopped to thank us, and tell us what a wonderful job we had done! All 4 patients throughout the day were able to carry on with their day, and the festivities continued. 🚑

Thank you to Pickering Town Community Interest Company for having us at the event, and creating such a good event for everyone to enjoy! 💃👌

We're raring to go for the 1940s Sunday event💃
We will be providing top level first aid to those who are attending tomorrow's festivities! But we havent dusted off the 1940s St John uniforms 🫣 theyre a little to itchy for our liking! So we will see you all tomorrow in our greens! Look out for Rich, Abbie, Cat, Grace and Darren and wander over to say hi! 👋

We have a lovely fundraising stall, that will be in the Pickering Antiques building at the top of the market place too!💚🚑
