You wouldn’t think what’s on your feet could affect what’s happening in your jaw, but it can! 🦶
Flat shoes and flip-flops might feel light and freeing, especially in summer, but they don’t offer much support. Over time, this can shift your posture in subtle ways… and those shifts travel. Up through the ankles, the hips, the spine and eventually to the jaw.
Postural imbalance plays a huge role in TMJ Dysfunction and I’ve seen again and again how working from the ground up can create real change.
If you wear unsupported shoes often, try using The Jaw Massage Ball® on the soles of your feet. Just a few minutes a day can help reset the body and take pressure off the jaw.
Small things, done consistently, make the biggest difference.
