Happy Wednesday 😊 Ready for a busy morning of online clients. Today I have the privilege of helping people with the following 👇🏽
✔️ Phobia release - my first session of the day is a dental phobia. We will first work together to locate the root cause, reframe it and then use lots of positive mental rehearsal to ensure the dental procedure feels as pleasant as possible for my client. Phobias usually stem from a one time incident in the past and using hypnotherapy can quickly be resolved!
✔️ Anxiety - my second session today is for anxiety. I’ll begin first of all by helping my client to calm their mind, body and nervous system with breathing techniques, powerful visualisations and grounding techniques to bring them back to the present moment. Over the next few weeks we will then look to find the causes and triggers and reframe and neutralise those, we will encourage their mind to live in the here and now, as opposed to living in the future and focusing on all of the ‘what ifs’ and then we will fill the subconscious mind with lots of positive suggestions. We will also create an aftercare plan to keep on top of general stressors that are inevitable in day to day life to prevent them from becoming overwhelming.
✔️ General stress relief - finally I have a client who I have worked with in the past to combat anxiety and some physical pain who has seen first hand the damage that stress can do to both the mind and body. She now comes for general stress relief sessions every couple of months as a form of self care. We will use various visualisations, breathing techniques and one of my favourites a ‘subconscious release’ where essentially I don’t need to know the symptoms or the problem at hand, the subconscious knows and within hypnosis, it will release it for you. This technique is amazing for those people who don’t know/ don’t wish to disclose what’s going on.
