September is World Alzheimer's Month

This is an annual campaign which aims to address the stigma and discrimination surrounding dementia. It promotes post-diagnosis support and encourages conversations about the disease.

Here at Cambridge Avenue we have worked closely alongside Alzheimer's Society this year, to provide help and support for our patients who are currently waiting for a full diagnosis. But to also provide support to the loved ones of the patient, as this disease affects close family and friends.

We are pleased to announce that we are offering another Total Triage Drop in Session!

A member of our team will be sat in the reception area 11am to 12pm on Wednesday 17th September to answer any questions and to give a preview on how to use our Total Triage Form.

💉Autumn Covid and Flu Clinics 💉

We are now setting up covid and flu clinics for October 2025, if patients are eligible they will receive a message from the surgery inviting them to get booked in for a vaccination.

September clinics have not yet been confirmed, the surgery are going to prioritise housebound patients for flu clinics.

We will also be providing nasal flu clinics to patients aged between 2 to 3, or for children in high risk groups. Messages will be sent out in due course.
