NEW DAY~ NEW YOU

I hope you all had a lovely Easter for those of us that celebrated it over the weekend.

For those that stayed on track, YAY! For those that didn’t stay 100% but still tried their best, very well done to you too 💕

For those that maybe over indulged, or have lost their way, lost their map, and all sense of direction this is the week to regain your focus and detox yourselves, and you can do this!

Think of going fully back on plan like a lovely cleanse and treat to your body.

In 3-4 days you will start to feel better and back in control. Remember to drink your minimum water of 2.25 up-to to 4 litres a day. Following any of the Steps properly and we’ll have you back on track, detoxed from sugar and feeling good again in no time.

Intentions: What you think you become...keep positive, and focused on your goals.

You are entirely up to you, prioritise you. You’re worth the effort.

Your nutrition is what will ultimately get you to lose the weight.
The exercise will help you maintain the results.

Patience is always needed...it didn’t all go on in a day, it won’t come off in a day.

If you stick to plan, and drink your minimum of 2.25 litres of water, stop letting the odd off plan food creep in, (or an accidental off plan drink 👀) then you will lose fat as fast as it is safely possible on The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan.

Patience along with consistency are key.

Strive for 100% everyday and you will be rewarded with a healthy weight and/or cm loss each week to help keep you motivated to continue.

Don’t get fixated on the number, and never compare. All the time you are trying your very best, that’s the only thing you need to focus on, your effort.

You needn’t be disappointed by the number if you have stuck to plan 100% as this is as fast as your body will go. You don’t need to feel disappointment if you could have tried harder.

However, remember a loss is a loss and another step forward in the right direction no matter what the number or speed is.

Keep focusing on the positives. 💞

Please note, it’s best not to weigh yourself everyday, unless you fully understand how weight loss works, and it’s a positive thing for you. My advice is once a week, first thing in the morning on the same day, and the studies show that optimal max number of times is 2-3 times a week. If weighing everyday you have to be prepared to see weight fluctuations up and down, which can be attritubuted to hormones, water retention, periods, constipation and the weather! Also, not drinking your minimum of 2.25 litres a day.

It’s up to you...focus and envisage that goal and don’t stop until you get there... ✨

"I lost 51lbs in 19 weeks. The other 7lb came off without even trying this past 9 weeks. I haven't been this weight in about a decade.

I've shed the equivalent of 26 bags of sugar! I physically can't imagine carrying that many bags of sugar for longer than a few minutes, let alone 24/7.

I've lost 36 inches from all over my body.

I've gained confidence, energy and self worth. I did this!

At 42 I didn't lose weight as fast as I did in my 30's and 20's but I have never had a gain. I focused on my non scale victories, like being able to wrap a bath towel around myself. I set myself mini goals. Get into the next stone bracket... get my BMI under 30.. weigh the same as my husband... and they all helped to keep me focused.

Every other diet I've been on in the past I have had cheat days. I've saved calories to drink that bottle of wine, or treated myself on weigh day. But my mindset has changed completely. Food is not a reward!

Don't get me wrong, I have had celebration meals on plan. I haven't counted those calories. I enjoyed the evening, but I made smart choices knowing I'd be straight back on plan the next day.

Initially I was just using 1:1 Diet products as I had to break a lot of food habits. Now I have 1 product day, not because I need to, because I want to. I eat normal food. I watch what I eat, walk a lot and make smart choices. Plus I drink a lot of fluid.. drink to shrink!

I suffer from fibromayalga, arthritis, and spinal disease. You can't put a price on improving your health."

Happy April 🌺

The beginning of a new month is a time of reflection for most; New Month goals are made, and for the majority, these goals aren’t always followed through.

Whether it be to lose weight, quit drinking or smoking, exercise more or get more sleep. I am sure most of us at some point have made one or more of these goals that are never fulfilled.

Which made me question why?
Is it that our lives are normally so hectic that we keep putting them off?
Let’s make April the month of you, the beginning of positively focusing on yourself.

We only get one body, so we have to take care of it.

We are all on a journey to better health, not only do we need to ensure we are eating nutritious meals that are fuel for our body, we also must make sure we get all our daily requirements of vitamins and minerals.

"Which Step gives the fastest weight loss?"

I am often asked this question by clients, and the answer I give is always...

"The fastest Step is the one you can stick to".

Just because the computer says that you can start on Step 1A or 1B, doesn't necessarily mean that you should.

We are all different. The amount of weight we would like to lose is different, as are our medical backgrounds, personal circumstances and activity levels.

Some people like to be able to take food completely out of the equation, in which case Step 1A or 1B suits them perfectly. Others like to sit down to a "proper" meal with their family, so prefer Step 2 or 3. Some people are gym bunnies so need more calories.

Some people only want to lose a few pounds quickly for a special occasion, others have several stone to lose.

Whatever your circumstances, I have a Step to suit you, and it's one that you will be able to stick to!
