Entrepreneur reflection day.

Visibility, aiming to appear in a certain way, business branding, expectations and attracting clients...
I supposed to be following my "visibility" social media planner but for some reason I as a business owner and a person feel resistance.
Resistance to posh media posts, educational posts, carousels, reels and etcetera... It just feels uncomfortable.
I am not the only business owner that feels like that. That there is something wrong about social media and how we all want to attract clients as the face of the business.

I am rethinking my business strategy and how it alignes with my overall purpose.

Stereotypes, our perceptions of others and the beliefs that come with them as a package,are they really true? 📦

What does a clever person look like?
Are rich always shallow and acting like they are privileged?
Poor come from pathological background and aren't cleaver.
Quiet people are less asertive and more agreeable.
Strong people don't need help.
Smiling people are happy...

He/she doesn't look trustworthy, wealthy or knowledgeable...

Can an outgoing hyperactive person crochet, does it fit our perception of them?
Would it shock us to see a scruffy short male or female that we come across on the street to be a Nobel price scientist?
These are just some of the beliefs, perceptions and Stereotypes that I came across.

It's really interesting how Stereotypes and perceptions are created and where this 'quick' judgement occurs.
Are we even aware of them? Or maybe they are hidden in our subconscious?
Are they helpful or limiting?

My "bad habit" is that I question everything.
A bit of a detective in me there😅
I love it! It gets me closer to the truth.
My family hates it! You can imagine why!

I have plenty more! But I won't be mentioning them so that you'll think I am soo amazing and stuff😎

Let's get back to the TABU bit.

Nearly every source mention SUBCONSCIOUS in the explanation of the meaning of 'HABIT'.
Every source also give numbers around how long it takes to break/ change or replace an unwanted habit( anywhere between 21- 200 days...)
But funny enough as they all confirm that it is performed without a conscious thought(subconsciously) nearly none of them suggests techniques that work directly with the SUBCONSCIOUS Mind but suggests that physically repeating a new wanted habbit is the only way to go????!!!!
What if you perform a new one in your MIND❓️

Habits are not only things we DO
It's the feelings we feel
Thoughts we have
Every hour, every day...
If you would to record all your thoughts and feelings you had during the day you would quickly notice a pattern.

Quick note on SUBCONSCIOUS and how we can use it in relation to HABITS.

Subconscious mind for some reason cannot distinguish between imagination and reality.

So let's assume the information from all these research and sources is TRUE- That habits reside in Subconscious mind and that it really cannot distinguish between what is real and not.

That would suggest that you can introduce a new habit while accessing SUBCONSCIOUS and because it would accept it as real- performed physically you could change your habit without actually performing it physically yet. This would suggest that you had just created a new NEUROPATHWAY.

Yep, soo easy.

⚠️ why would I open up my business while everyone shouts its the worse time ever❓️

I could easily work in a well established and accredited school as a tutor or continue my career in management....BUT

The truth is I am a rebel.

I don't follow stupid rules.
I love to explore alternative opportunities, new methods or upgrading old ones to suit our needs.
I am a problem solver- not a manager conducting disciplinary meetings, dealing with punishments rather then looking into systems and how they could be improved to prevent disasters.
I don't want to sell or promote things that are waste of money, not improving anything in our life or don't get me exited and fired up.
I hate phrases such as: "it is how it is" or
"it pays the bills"
"this is not my business"

This is why I have decided to take the risks and opened up my business.
To invest in myself, my education and systems around delivering my planned services...And if it works in these current economic circumstances than what is next?

Being my own boss means that:

I have the ability to respond quickly to a problem, creating rules and policies that work for people not the other way round, choosing who I work with which increases compatibility and performance. Doing things that improve the product or service and not wasting time on box ticking meaningless tasks.
In my business there is no room for hypocrisy and following stupid rules.
Freedom‼️
Limitless possible ventures❗️
Being able to be courageous, exploring new ways of thinking and doing.
