Rubiks Inclusive Counselling Interventions CIC Rubiks provides counselling, psychoeducation, wellbeing, and therapeutic support.

Rubiks Inclusive Counselling Interventions CIC is a counselling service that offers interventions and groups. We are inclusive of everyone, as everyone needs a listening ear, a support network, and positive and responsive relationships. The activities of the company will benefit children and adults aged 4 and up in the North Lincolnshire and Doncaster areas through the provision of counselling, psychoeducation, wellbeing support, and therapeutic input. The CiC will use student counsellors from local universities to gain hours while also providing a safe environment. This will reduce statutory service as we have staff with a wide range of skills. Another objective is to create a peer support network by utilising people’s strengths and skills, giving people the opportunity to form positive, meaningful relationships. We will engage with people, regardless of protective factors, to have a voice and liaise with services. Our services can be provided in a variety of ways to ensure inclusivity and bespoke therapeutic engagement.’

Su***de Prevention Day today as is everyday .This year's theme is Changing the Narrative. To me it means the difference between suicidal ideation where you have thoughts of ending your life and completing Su***de. I have seen myself and heard stories of those having suicidal thoughts as weak , craving attention and other negative thoughts . Behind the thoughts is a reason, a person , a trigger , part trauma , a broken relationship of family dynamics. mental illness, physical illness many reasons
When Su***de is complete people's thoughts change massively, what could I have done , why , so young , poor family etc.
I have lost 2 close friends to su***de , they felt they had no option .
You checking in on someone , a wave a hello , a conversation, a random act of kindness can make a difference to someone's life .
Today at Crosby Junior Football Club ⚽️ myself and Magda from Rubiks will be there if you need that chat , you are worried about a relative. We will be there from 5 till 8 come and see us 💙💛

There is a football tournament at Crosby Junior Football Club for The Baton of Hope

what a review , a true inspirational success story

I have to write this review as Pete has literally changed our son’s life and continues to support him.
Our son was diagnosed with autism aged 5 and now at 14 he is currently not in mainstream school but is supported by CAMHS , TAMNET and an EOTAS package including sessions with Pete.
I don’t want to write a huge story but in a nutshell.
My son has severe social anxiety due to autism and Pete has worked so hard with him.
As well as the sessions, Pete has helped him to successfully join a football team.
This doesn’t sound much but he has never played football because he literally couldn’t be around other people so a team was way out of the question sadly.

Pete helped him with acceptance and this week our son played his first football match. 🙌
He also came on holiday this year with less anxiety than usual, Went On a tube train in London, Went to a theatre. ,
So many milestones and we can’t thank Pete enough for helping him to do these things.
We know it’s not a cure having the sessions with Pete but he is finally having a life which is all we ever wanted and he is happier than he has ever been before.
Thanks Pete 🥳
