Our fabulous Clare has been selected as a finalist for a Linca Care Award! This is following receiving 2 nominations for the ‘Residential Care Award’.

Clare attended her interview today and met some of the judges.

The registered manager of the home says:

We have a very special birthday at The Valleys today as our lovely Doreen celebrates her 100th birthday!

There’s plenty of cake, balloons and celebrations under way. Doreen also received her card from King Charles himself!

Our lovely day care centre is reopening from next month!

The day is usually filled with fun games, crafts, walks and any activities which loved ones would like take part in. Home cooked, fresh lunch provided.

Our lovely Chris has spent some time today creating welcome baskets with a few necessities (and treats) included!

All of us at The Valleys love welcoming new faces into the home and we all go the extra mile with ensuring that our newest family members feel as welcome as possible!

WOW!! What a beautiful surprise 🫶🏻 🎁

Wonderful staff members from Cambridge Avenue Medical Centre came and delivered LOTS of Christmas gifts which have very kindly been brought in by staff and patients for our residents.

We cannot thank you all enough for your kindness, there’s going to be many smiley faces when these gifts are opened!

One of our treasured members of our close community popped in this afternoon to bring in donations people put together at the Lakeside Community Light Switch on! We couldn’t have let Steve leave without the obligatory picture by the tree and his face on our famous page!
