WOW!! What a beautiful surprise 🫶🏻 🎁

Wonderful staff members from Cambridge Avenue Medical Centre came and delivered LOTS of Christmas gifts which have very kindly been brought in by staff and patients for our residents.

We cannot thank you all enough for your kindness, there’s going to be many smiley faces when these gifts are opened!

So dearly appreciated, thank you! 🧡

One of our treasured members of our close community popped in this afternoon to bring in donations people put together at the Lakeside Community Light Switch on! We couldn’t have let Steve leave without the obligatory picture by the tree and his face on our famous page!

Final day today to grab your raffle tickets before it is drawn tomorrow 🎅🏻

Just £1 a strip could win you either a £50 miller & carter voucher, a driving lesson, meat hamper, veg hamper, breakfast at the Anchor for 4 people or any of the other fantastic prizes we have been very kindly donated.

All funds raised go straight into our residents fund ♥️

Feeling festive! 🎄 🎁
Every year our community come together for the Lakeside Christmas Lights switch on! We are so proud to be at the heart of such a fantastic community. ⛄️
Residents loved seeing all of the Christmas lights and the efforts our neighbours have gone to in order to help everyone into the festive spirit.
For the residents who didn’t want to face the frost, we brought the princesses in for a visit!
Thank you for all who helped organise such a wonderful event! As always, we will be bigger next year! 🎉

🌹 It is with incredibly heavy hearts we announce that our dear Sally has sadly passed away. 🌹

Sally joined our Valleys family initially as a domestic cleaner and later decided to join our activities team ensuring our residents always had smiles on their faces.
Sally leaves a hole within our family and will be dearly missed.
Our thoughts are with Sally’s friends and family at this sorrowful time.

Thank you for everything Sally, you will never be forgotten. 🧡

One more was added to the collection this morning from our lovely Nat who visits our residents from the NHS.
