The All-Age Carers Strategy is being reviewed and as part of this North Lincolnshire Council have developed a questionnaire to gather Carers views. The questionnaire is designed to capture what matters most to you as a Carer, or former Carer, and how support can be improved in North Lincolnshire. This questionnaire should only take you a few minutes to answer. If you would like to chat with someone about your experience, please provide your contact details at the end of the questionnaire. The questionnaire can be accessed by scanning the QR code below or by clicking on the following link:

Ahead of the publication of the Schools White Paper on SEND reform, which is due to be published early next year, the Department for Education is holding a series of in-person and online events for parents, carers, school staff and SEND professionals to “discuss and understand views on the core principles for SEND reform and ensure that our reforms are grounded in lived experience”.

You can find out more about these events, and sign up to them at the link below. The online event is already fully booked, but the page says that "Further dates and locations will be added".

Washday Blues takes places in an authentic laundry building where the Normanby Hall estate’s clothing and linens were laundered between the 1890's and the outbreak of the First World War.
During this workshop, the children will discover the harsh realities of washing and drying clothes in Victorian times. They will compare the laundry routines of the rich residents of Normanby, poorer Victorians and those of the present day.

This workshop lasts approximately 1 hour 45 mins and is aimed at Home Educated pupils in KS1 and KS2.

Please meet our Learning Assistant at the Gift Shop at 10:15 to complete registration.
To accommodate as many children as possible, we prefer not to exceed a ratio of one adult for each family group.

The price of £6.30 per child taking part includes entry into the Park for one child and one accompanying adult. Each child taking part will need a ticket.

If you are booking for a group, we require at least one adult for every six children.
To book please follow the link below.
