On Monday evening we'll be hosting the latest get together of our Men Matter support group.
As previously reported, the group is aimed specifically at men who are actively going through treatment, or who have recovered from cancer.
Run by experienced counsellors, it offers support through activities such as Lego therapy and board games and aims to provide a safe space for those in attendance to share their concerns and experiences.
The session runs between 6pm and 7.30pm at Hope House and all are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing faces new and familiar.

Our carers spend long hours out in the community supporting vulnerable individuals. Sometimes, they just need a welcoming space to take a short break, enjoy a warm drink, or simply recharge.

By offering a safe and friendly environment, your organisation would be helping those who care for others. Even something as small as a chair and a cup of tea can make a big difference to a carer’s day ☕💚

To support this, Goodwin Healthcare has launched the Safe Place Pledge — a community initiative that brings together caring local organisations who value kindness, respect, and support for our carers.

🌍 Inter Faith Week 2025 begins today!
Inter Faith Week (9 – 16 November) is all about celebrating the rich diversity of faiths, beliefs, and cultures that make up our communities. It’s a time to build understanding, strengthen friendships, and highlight how people of different backgrounds can work together for the common good.
Across North Lincolnshire, faith groups, schools, and community organisations are coming together to mark the week with events that promote unity, dialogue, and shared conversations

Inter Faith Week is a reminder that, whatever our beliefs, compassion, respect, and community spirit connect us all. It’s a chance to listen, learn, and celebrate the things we share — while appreciating what makes each tradition unique.
