So the first full week of the New Year, and a busy first week—but what a powerful start 🌟

We’re only just back, and already two Care and Connection Hub coffee mornings have taken place. Two mornings filled with conversation, warmth, laughter, and something even more important: community.

Seeing people come together, take time to listen, share stories, and support one another is a reminder that real impact happens in these simple, human moments. Over a cup of coffee, connections are made, confidence grows, and memories are created that last far beyond the morning itself.

These moments matter. They build belonging, strengthen relationships, and turn spaces into communities. Feeling incredibly grateful for everyone who showed up, contributed, and helped make these mornings so special.

📣 We’re recruiting Community Care Officers!

We have 2 Community Care Officer roles (30 hours/week) available — 1 permanent position and 1 secondment opportunity.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead your own local area, support carers, work closely with service users, and help shape great care in the community. The role includes flexible working hours, on-call (paid separately), enhanced bank holiday rates, and the chance to make a real difference every day.

You must be a driver with access to a vehicle and confident working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

✨ HAPPY NEW YEAR! Our first delivery of 2026 has arrived! ✨

We know many of us are starting a health kick this January, but as you know, we never quite know what our community larder delivery will bring! While our fresh veg fridge is looking a little empty this week, we have some fantastic treats and lunch essentials to share with you all.

🥪 Lunchbox Fillers, Quick Meals and Pantry staples:
• Protein: Sliced ham & boneless chicken pieces (perfect for sandwiches!)
• Quick Bites: Pot Noodles (Bombay Bad Boy, Doner Kebab, & Chicken and Mushroom).
• The Extras: Self-raising flour, Potato Soup, and Unsweetened Soya Drink.
•Sauce it up: Creamy Ranch Mayo or Spicy Ranch Mayo for a little kick!
