🤍 🪽 The Seat Beside Us 🪽🤍
This is one of a few projects we will share over the festive period, and this one holds the heaviest love. Our memory chair is not for sitting in, it is a seat kept for those who should be with us and are not, for those who cannot be here, and for those who wish they could be.
The holidays highlight the empty places more than anything else. The chair at the table that stays untouched. The laugh we still listen for. The message we wish would come. The arms we ache to feel again.
This chair is for them. A quiet reminder that their place in our lives has not gone cold. It is saved, it is seen, and it still matters.
If you need to stand beside it or sit close for a moment, you are welcome. Say a name, think a memory, leave a memory or a photograph, or to simply let a tear fall. Love does not disappear just because a person cannot walk through the door.
