🤝 The future of Ashby Funeral Care is in safe hands.

We are incredibly proud of Alfie Taylor who has just turned 17 and has successfully passed the National Association of Funeral Directors Awareness course.

The NAFD’s Funeral Service Awareness programme is designed to support those considering a career in the funeral profession and to give a deeper understanding of the standards, responsibilities and care required within our industry.

For Alfie, this is another important step in his development. The experience he is gaining every day, along with the maturity and compassion he shows beyond his years, is a real testament to his character.

Many of you will have seen reviews from families who have personally thanked Alfie for his kindness and professionalism. That fills us with immense pride. To receive recognition from families at such difficult times speaks volumes.

Alfie, you are a credit to Ashby Funeral Care, a credit to the wider profession, and most importantly, a credit to yourself.

🕊️ We were truly touched to receive a beautiful card from a family we recently supported following the loss of their dad.

Losing a parent is never easy. It is the loss of a lifetime of memories, stories, guidance and love. In moments like that, families are carrying so much, and to take the time to write to us means more than we can ever fully express.

Cards like this fill us with immense pride. To be trusted with such an important farewell, and to help guide a family through one of the hardest journeys they will ever face, is a responsibility we never take lightly.

Supporting a family and ensuring their loved one receives the finest and most dignified farewell goes above everything. Knowing we have helped bring even a small measure of comfort during such a painful time is why we do what we do.

We will leave you with the words of our late great Queen, Elizabeth II:

“Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love.”

Who’s joining us?

Race Night to Support Scunthorpe NICU

The Scunthorpe nicu little warriors are inviting the local community to a fun-filled fundraising race night in support of the Scunthorpe Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The event will take place on Saturday 28th February at Brumby Hall, with doors opening from 7pm. The evening promises plenty of excitement while raising vital funds to support babies and families cared for by the NICU.

Tickets are available now, and anyone interested can inbox Lee Clay, purchase tickets directly from Brumby Hall, or contact Emma on 07988 689024 for more information.

All proceeds from the night will go towards supporting the incredible work of the Scunthorpe NICU, helping to make a real difference for local families. The organisers hope to see a great turnout for what is set to be an enjoyable and meaningful evening.
