Adam has just arrived home after his mini holiday in York. Adam started his break by going for a walk around the city, including a stroll along the wall, to check out the places he’d like to visit. He enjoyed some pub food and a pint in a local pub before wandering through the Shambles and across both bridges. Adam headed back feeling happy and looking forward to a fun few days!

Adam enjoyed his breakfast, pancakes, syrup, and bacon, and enjoyed a trip to HMV and bought a CD before heading out for a walk around York. He was excited to visit York Dungeon and told staff he would look after them if they got scared 😅. Adam laughed throughout the tour, especially when staff were “put on trial” for stealing sheep. He bought photos, a mug, and a tankard as souvenirs.

Adam and staff enjoyed a boat trip down the river, enjoying a drink and snack while listening to the guide talk about York’s history. Later, Adam visited some pubs from a list he had prepared, had dinner, and tried a few drinks. He also had a look around York Minster and some shops.

Adam told staff he had a fantastic time and said that next time, he’d like to go for a whole week 🤦‍♂😂

Huge thanks to Jamie, Adams support worker for planning such a fantastic trip for Adam.
