Six future babies arrived this morning at Threeways! 🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣

Our chicken eggs have arrived as part of our hatching experience, giving residents a glimpse into the incredible world behind our hatching kit - with a focus on preservation, welfare, and wildlife conservation.

This wonderful experience brings nature into our home, helping us learn about caring for animals, protecting heritage breeds, and supporting high-welfare farming practices.

We’re so excited to watch these little ones hatch and grow over the coming days! 💛

We had the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful sounds of the Sunshine Strummers, a talented group of ukulele players and singers who generously give their time to raise money for local charities ☀️🎶

This year, they are supporting Making Magical Moments in Seaford, a fantastic group helping those living with dementia, mental health challenges, and disabilities.

We were also so touched to hear kind words from some of the group’s members who follow our page - thank you for your lovely comments about our home and team. It truly means a lot to us! 💛

Life lately at Threeways 💛

We’ve had some special moments here recently that brought so many smiles to our residents’ faces. This includes the beautiful voice of Susannah, whose singing filled the home with warmth and nostalgia 🎶 From well-loved classics to uplifting favourites, it was a wonderful time shared by all, with plenty of toe-tapping and singalongs!

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Easter cream tea, made even more special by a surprise visit from some very cute mini Easter bunnies delivering sweet treats to everyone - Thomas and Grace! 💛

There was laughter, smiles, and plenty of chocolate… an egg-stra special day had by all! 🐰🍰

The staff who walk the hallway floor, Who open their hearts and every door. They offer more than care or tea; They offer back a dignity.

A gentle touch on a lonely day, The patience for that they need to say. For comfort is there greatest gift, The quietly hand that helps to lift The weight of years, the sting of fear, By simply whispering “I am here.”

From kitchen porter to Chef 👨‍🍳🔥

Meet Matt Acton, who started his journey with us 14 years ago in the kitchen and worked his way up from assistant to chef. His dedication, hard work and passion have been at the heart of our kitchen ever since.

When he’s not serving up delicious meals at Threeways, Matt is an avid supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion, a pub quiz master at his local, and a big fan of a perfectly cooked steak dinner!

We love having you on the team, Matt! 💙
