We had some truly special visitors at Threeways recently, thanks to the wonderful team at Our Amazing Animal World 🐍🐢🐰

Residents were delighted to meet a range of friendly animals and the room was filled with laughter and curiosity 💛

Animal therapy offers so many benefits - from comfort and companionship to gentle stimulation and joyful memories. We’re so grateful for experiences like these 🦔✨

Today we took a little trip down memory lane - to the seaside! 🏖️ Residents enjoyed a delightful holiday reminiscence session, sharing stories of summer getaways, beachside adventures, and sun-soaked memories from years gone by.

To bring the experience to life, we added a hands-on sensory sand activity. And what’s a day at the beach without a treat? We served up refreshing Coke floats - a fizzy blast from the past that had everyone grinning! 🥤🍦

What a wonderful day at the Threeways Nursing Home Garden Fête on Sunday, raising money for Seahaven Storehouse! ☀️🎉

Residents, families, and visitors enjoyed a joyful afternoon filled with raffles, tombola stalls, live music, a sizzling BBQ, cream teas, homemade cakes – and a very special guest: the beloved author Jacqueline Wilson HQ! 📚💐

Thank you to everyone who made it such a heartwarming success. Events like these are a beautiful reminder of the community spirit at the heart of Threeways.

Whether it’s a gentle stroll along the promenade, fresh sea air to lift the spirits, or simply soaking in the views from a comfy spot - the coast is such a gift to our residents.

Being close to nature and the rhythm of the waves brings calm, connection, and joy - and we make the most of every sunny day! ☀️🌊
