At Seaford and Newhaven we pride ourselves on being able to offer unique and personalized funerals, so last week we were only too pleased to have a full paramedic guard of honor and be escorted to the funeral by this ambulance, to pay tribute to a great man who not only served in the Royal Airforce but also as a paramedic himself ❤️

❤️What a superb morning!⭐️
Our funeral director Rob had the great honour of taking his “letters to heaven” postbox to the children of Annecy school and had such a wonderful chat about heaven and our loved ones! He was of course helped out by his daughter Grace who’s idea the whole thing was!

It's just under a month until we participate in St Wilfrid's Hospice Rainbow Run 🌈 to honour our late colleague, Danny McIntyre, who passed away last year. Last year, we successfully raised an incredible £1,249.81 to support St Wilfrid's Hospice and the amazing work they do. If you have any personal experience with the hospice, you understand what I mean when I say that, along with all the volunteers, they truly embody compassion and care. 🇬🇧What an absolute incredible honour it was to be able to play our part in Seaford’s VE Day service,
⭐️Firstly, our Funeral Director, Rob, in his role with the Royal British Legion, helped organise and carry out the ceremony at the war memorial,
⭐️Then all in attendance were invited back to the branch, where the arrangers did an excellent job hosting everyone and providing tea and cake.

🇬🇧Today marks the beginning of week long events throughout the town commemorating VE Day and the official end of World War Two, it’s incredibly important that we honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for us to have the freedoms we enjoy today, from all at Seaford and Newhaven funeral service… THANK YOU!

Thursday we will be at Seaford war memorial from 8:30am for a short service, then Friday our funeral director will be entertaining at the Royal British Legion from 6:30pm, with his homage to the 1940’s and featuring the Seaford Sweethearts 🎙️
