After hearing some sad news this evening, I wanted to share this.

It’s ok to cry, yes you did read that right.

Research has found, that not only does crying help soothe us, when we cry emotional tears, we release oxytocin and endorphins.

These chemicals make us feel good and promote a sense of wellbeing. It can also help to lift our spirits and improve mood when we are feeling low or sad.

I cry and I believe it’s important to let the emotion out rather than put on a brave face, plus if you have children it teaches them that it is ok to cry.

So if you need to cry, do so it will help you!!

Just recently I’ve been reminded of a valuable life lesson, at a time when it seems what can go wrong, has gone wrong.

The lesson is this: life and the universe only ever gives us what we can handle.

The same rule applies for success and hardships.

The hardships we are presented with come along to force us to grow into the person we need to be for the next chapter. That’s not to say they are not difficult, but they enable us to grow and become stronger.

Remember during these hardships, that it’s how we react to the adversity, not the adversity itself, that determines how we grow and develop.

So, next time you’re questioning life and the park you’re on, remember it’s where you’re meant to be at this moment in time and there is a bigger purpose for us all in the future.
