Sarah and James love to roam and wander, experiencing all that nature has to offer to the soul, always looking out for new experiences and the natural feel good factor. After a bout of 'dry January' and even prior to this, they had been searching for healthy alternatives that culminated all their interests and where people could gather, through there searching this is when Seaham Wild Sauna was created. The reason behind it is simple; to bring a unique experience amongst the elements, creating a space for calm, connection and higher consciousness.

⚠️ A storm is on its way ⚠️

Storm Amy is predicted to be bringing with her gusts of up to 80mph.

That’s the kind of huff and puff that could blow more than just the straw house down — our sauna wouldn’t stand a chance against the Big Bad Wolf in that weather!

For everyone’s safety, we’ll be keeping things closed until the winds settle and reorganise a date. Full refunds will be issued.

Please take care, stay cosy indoors, and we’ll be back on the bay as soon as the weather allows.

As we step fully into the autumn months, we’re reminded of what this season brings us in the natural cycle of life.

🍂 Autumn is a time of slowing down, of harvesting what we’ve grown through the summer, and gently preparing ourselves for rest and renewal. It’s about letting go, grounding, and turning inward as the days grow shorter and cooler.

We had hoped to mark this shift with a special sauna session by the sea, celebrating the beauty of the season together. But with the recent waste discharge into the water, it didn’t feel right to gather in that setting.

Our intention is always to hold space that feels nourishing, safe, and deeply connected to nature — so instead, we’ll wait until the time is right 🧡

We weren’t wrong…

We soooo needed the sauna and by the sound of it everyone felt the same!

As the moon made her appearance, popping out from the clouds it was a beautiful night to be back in the sauna, sharing stories of the summer and intentions going forward into the autumn.

Sorry for those unable to grab a seat with us tonight but here we relight the fire to spread light, heat and connection 🧡
