✨️ Realising my coffee mug matches my duvet 😅

Coffee, notebook, to-do list… and figuring out how it’s all going to come together ☕️📓
It’s not just classes, it’s everything that makes the classes happen

✨ The real life of a self-employed yoga teacher ✨

Yes, there’s flow… but there’s also a lot behind the scenes 😅

The actual checklist:
☑ Plan classes that make sense (and don’t accidentally destroy everyone’s legs)
☑ Demo + talk + breathe at the same time
☑ Answer messages at random hours
☑ Post on socials (even when you don’t feel like it)
☑ Remember everyone’s injuries, names, and life updates
☑ Sort bookings, payments & the “tech stuff”
☑ Keep learning so I can give more
☑ Show up with energy… even on the off days
☑ Try to have my own practice too 🙃
☑ Wonder if anyone will book… then panic when they all do at once 😂

Some days feel like ✨magic✨
Some days feel like “what am I doing??”

BUT… here’s why I wouldn’t swap it for anything 🤍

☑ The people, every single one of you
☑ Watching confidence grow week by week
☑ The quiet at the end of class… that feeling
☑ The deep breaths that actually land
☑ The little “ah ha” moments when it clicks
☑ The laughs, the wobbles, the realness
☑ Seeing someone walk in stressed and leave lighter
☑ Knowing this space matters

It’s not always easy… but it’s always worth it 🤍

Having breakfast on my own before a walk on my own and my own yoga practice. You dont always have to finish first, look perfect or have it together.. you don't have to be the "best".

Taking time for you… that’s where it starts ✨

Mine is getting up before everyone else,
a quiet house, a slow coffee,
and a little bit of me time to reset before the day begins 🤍

Today isnt a “day off”… just a different kind of work.

Today is slower, quieter… but still full.

Planning new ideas
Listening a little deeper
Watching with intention
Reading what inspires (and getting distracted halfway through 👀)
Thinking… then overthinking… then coming back to the breath

And most of all… breathing, taking the time for me 🌿

Because being a yoga teacher isn’t just the hour you see on the mat.

It’s the time spent creating classes with intention.
Replying to messages, checking in with students, usually with a tea in hand ☕
Holding space for others while navigating your own life (yes, we’re human too)
Continuing to learn, grow, and stay inspired.
Balancing family, work, responsibilities and everything in between

It’s early mornings, late nights and the in-between moments no one really notices.
It’s energy, care, presence… and sometimes wondering what day it even is 😅

So while it might look like “just a class”… it’s a lot more behind the scenes to offer you the best of me.
A lot of heart, a bit of chaos, and a whole lot of love.

And if you take time for you, be proud, feel grateful. Feel accomplished whethers it's 10 minutes or 60 minutes. We sometimes need to check out to be able to check in.

Thanks so much for all the messages lately 🤍 I really appreciate all your feedback, it means a lot and helps keep this space real and supportive. I’m so grateful to hear that yous are loving, enjoying, and really feeling each movement. And I’m so glad the pigeon progress was well received 🧘‍♀️ it’s such a powerful pose for opening the hips, releasing built-up tension, and creating space both physically and emotionally.

Tuesday classes are usually full and bring such a great energy ✨ If you’re planning to come along, I’d recommend booking in early to secure your spot.

Keeping it real on the mat 🤍

Yoga isn’t about pushing, performing, or getting it “perfect.” It’s about meeting yourself exactly where you are in this moment.

Some days you feel strong and open. Other days, everything feels tight, heavy, or distracted… and that’s okay.

Take what you need.
Rest when you need.
Move when it feels right.

Listen to your body, it’s always communicating with you. When we tune in, we can move in a way that supports rather than strains, building strength, ease, and trust over time.

Let your breath guide you. Your breath anchors you to the present moment, softens tension, and creates space helping each movement feel more natural, steady, and connected.

This practice is yours, not for comparison, not for judgement, but for connection.

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately… and yes, I haven’t been posting as much. I’ve been navigating life behind the scenes and taking the time to move through things gently and with intention.

Sometimes life hands you a little too much all at once. In those moments, it’s important to take the time to prioritise, slow down, and allow yourself the space to heal. For me recently that’s meant reflecting on a lot, life, health, moving house, personal relationships, and professional choices and giving myself the grace to move through it all at my own pace.

What I thought might have been taking shape at the start of the new year has simply taken a little longer, and now it feels like April is when things are beginning to unfold, and I’m really looking forward to everything that’s ahead.

Sometimes the most important work happens off the mat and away from the camera in the pauses, in the breath, and in those moments where we reconnect with ourselves and simply allow life to unfold.

Yoga continues to be my anchor through it all, reminding me to slow down, stay present, and trust the process. 🧘‍♀️

While I’ve been quieter on here, my two weekly classes are still running and generally full, which I’m incredibly grateful for. Thank you to everyone who continues to show up, share the space, and practice with me each week your energy means so much.

From April, I’ll also have availability on Wednesdays for corporate yoga and private sessions, so if you’ve been thinking about bringing yoga into your workplace or would like a more personalised practice, feel free to get in touch.

Back to the mat. Back to the breath.
