Laser Tattoo Removal Patch Test - Why you need it ⚡️

Before starting laser tattoo removal, a patch test is a legal requirement and keeps your skin safe.

Why do we do it?
• To make sure there’s no unexpected reaction
• Check your skin sensitivity
• Choose the best laser settings for you

What happens?
• After your consultation and advised suitable to continue, I will treat a small area of your tattoo with 3 shots of laser
• You monitor it for 1-2 days
• I will check in with you after a few days

✨ If all looks good, you’re ready to begin your journey after 7 days!

Patch tests are quick, essential and legally required before laser tattoo removal.

Laser Tattoo Removal Progress ⚡️

Here’s a look at one of my lovely client’s tattoo removal journey so far!

After 3 sessions spaced 12 weeks apart, you can see just how much the ink has faded already.

Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, and in this case, longer intervals between sessions were recommended to allow the skin to fully heal and to allow his body time to naturally flush out the ink particles. This ensures we achieve the best possible results safely.

He’s really happy with the progress so far, and we’re excited to keep going until we reach his goal.

Tattoo removal takes time, patience, and the right approach for your skin and tattoo.

Each hair goes through a natural growth cycle:
🔹 Anagen (active growth)
🔹 Catagen (transition)
🔹 Telogen (resting)

Only hairs in the active growth phase called the anagen phase can absorb the light effectively

I space your sessions out every 4–6 weeks so I can catch as many hairs in this phase as possible! ⚡️

👩‍🔬 And the laser settings?

They’re personalised to you. Because every body is unique, I adjust the settings depending on:

> Skin tone
> Hair colour & texture
> Skin sensitivity
> Area being treated
