We have some fabulous upcoming dates for the diary.

1: We are inviting Husbands and Wives of our residents to a 3-course Valentine’s lunch. Please get in touch with your choices in advance if you’d like to join us on the 9th or 11th February.

2: Celebrsting pancake day, bring the children along to some bubbly fun on the 17th February.

3: Put the 9th April in the calendar and bring your little ones along for an Easter Egg Hunt and afternoon tea.

We have had a lovely start to the week at Thornfield; we have had quizzes & crosswords to bird feeding, sensory trays and colouring to even baking a spiced apple cake which was delicious! We have also managed a trip out which was a lovely outing for a couple of our residents.

This afternoon we enjoyed a lovely walk to the wetlands in Seaton, taking in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. We even stopped for a spot of bird watching, which made the experience extra special. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon, enjoying nature and the simple pleasures it brings 🐦

We enjoyed a truly fabulous lunch today, beautifully prepared by our amazing chef Emma. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and the flavors were absolutely delicious. Meals like this make dining such a special experience, and we’re so grateful for the care and talent Emma brings to the table every day. Thank you for another wonderful meal! 🍽️👏
