These are just a few of the fabulous things we have been doing at Thornfield.

There is never a dull day celebrating a lot of National days including ‘National Toast day’.

We also made cheese and onion pasties, arranged fresh flowers for the reception room and tables, visited the shop for some supplies and spent time in our garden.

From folding the laundry to joining in with our wood work group; our team dedicate their time to providing meaningful activities and promoting our residents well-being at Thornfield whilst building friendships and social interaction.

A huge congratulations to our January Employee of the Month, Queenie.

Queenie was awarded as our employee of the month for her effortless kindness and support given to the residents, never failing to put a smile on her face!

As Thornfield’s Moving and Handling trainer, she has provided successful training sessions to the team.
Her knowledge and insight into person-centred care and clinical observations are welcomed at Thornfield, and have been acknowledged by the team and those in her presence.
