Its 30 bedrooms offer an array of options for those wishing to stay with us. From our Garden Rooms, Located in a pleasant residential area of Selby, Denison House is a vibrant, spacious, dementia friendly care home, registered to accommodate up to 31 elderly residents, either for a long term stay or for short periods of respite. We have daily activities, including chair exercise classes, motivation groups, singing and dancing sessions, holistic therapy, and arts & crafts, as well as a great outdoor space for residents to relax in. Denison House is within walking distance of Selby town centre, which includes a variety of shops, pubs and cafes, as well as an open market every Monday. Several parks, a large library, a bus station and train station are situated nearby. Quite a lot of people come to stay with us from home or following a stay in hospital and often for a trial period. We appreciate not everyone is the same and have individual needs and preferences. We also understand that a move into residential care is a big step. With this in mind, we will carry out a care and needs assessment in response to your enquiry.
