And talking about CATCH, what a fantastic place.

It is set in the middle of Harehills, created with the vision in mind of giving the local kids and teenagers a safe space to relax, have fun, be creative etc. Well they have certainly achieved that and then some. There's a gym, movie area, tennis tables, cafe and more inside. Polytunnels and a farm with llamas, alpacas, goats and much more outside.

The kids we saw were amazing, so polite making us cups of tea aplenty! There were some young volunteers doing the course with us, they were telling us how they used the facilities when they were younger, and how they want to give back to the community now they're older.

Very humbling experience seeing how this concept has come to life. Credit to all the staff there.

So I renewed my first aid qualification yesterday. It was a really amazing course, with a teacher who was passionate about the cause having been an ex firefighter. To anyone needing to update their qualification, or do it for the first time, then CATCH, ARK in Leeds is the place to do it 👌🏻
