Hello everyone, I'm very happy to announce that I will be running matwork Pilates sessions in Ettrickbridge Village Hall again after a break over the summer.
Classes will be a mixture of matwork and small equipment such as resistance bands, pilates soft ball and spikes massage balls.
I am a qualified Sports Therapist am now approaching my final year of Physio training, so my classes are designed to be safe for all levels. I provide modifications to allow you to tailor the session to meet your specific needs and goals.

The dates for the first block as as follows;
18th Sept
25th Sept
2nd Oct
9th Oct

Location - Ettrickbridge Village Hall
Time - Thursday evenings at 6.30pm
Cost - £40 for the 4 week block

*If you have not joined my classes before but would like to come along, please let me know asap so that I can send you out a consultation form. I also recommend a 30min 1:1 prior to starting the classes which includes a movement assessment and to teach the core principles of Pilates. Cost £20.

PILATES IN ETTRICKBRIDGE VILLAGE HALL SUMMER 2025!

Hello everyone, I’m really happy to be starting up my Pilates classes at Ettrickbridge Village Hall again this year after a busy 2nd year of Physio training. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already into your Pilates practice you are very welcome to come along.

The classes are designed so suit all abilities - modifications of each exercise are given to enable to you make the classes as gentle or challenging as you like!

Similar to last year, the classes will run in 4 week blocks.

When - Thursday evenings at 6:30pm
Duration - 50-60mins
Where - Ettrickbridge Village Hall
Cost - £40 for each 4 week block
Start Date - 8th May 2025

✨Summer Matwork Pilates in Ettrickbridge Village Hall ✨

Thursday evenings from 6th June (time to be confirmed)

-Cost
£40 for each 4 week block including the use of a Pilates mat and equipment for classes

-Level
Beginner to intermediate. All exercises can be modified to suit total beginners and those wanting to progress their Pilates practice. All ages welcome

-Duration
50-60mins

-What to Expect
I’m a sports therapist and physio student so my Pilates classes are heavily focussed on improving function, managing pain and preventing injury. This is achieved through a combination of balance training, core strengthening, joint stability exercises and mobility exercises. A range of equipment is used including Pilates balls, resistance bands and spikey massage balls.

For you to safely join classes you must be able to get up and down from the floor (it doesn’t need to be quickly!) and lie on your back, sides and front.

Gentle and Beginners Classes now up and running! You’re not to late to join the Gentle Pilates sessions! Gentle Pilates includes standing exercises, chair exercises and gentle lying exercises. Come along for a full body stretch and strengthen! Adaptions can me made to suit your specific requirements

Hello everyone,

I’ve not been active on this page for a while but in my time away I have been doing my ‘Comprehensive Matwork Pilates’ training through the APPI. I am going to be starting classes at the Border Physio Clinic. I will be running an 8 week ‘Beginners Pilates Program’ as well as a ‘Gentle Pilates’ class.
