Welcome everyone to my Grief Educator Page
When you have lost something or someone you love, that throws you into a feeling of despair and overwhelm do you hear yourself saying things like:
I will always be in pain
This pain will never end
This is selfish
It’s not masculine or ladylike to cry
It’s weak to show my feelings
It’s too sensitive or too many feelings to open Pandora’s box.
People have stories and subtleties around grief, based on stories you tell yourself such as “ the second year is the worst “
It’s interesting to identify what you were taught about feelings as children and how you can rewrite your own narrative around your feelings.
Feelings need to be felt to begin to heal.
It is true, things will never be the same again so we have to learn to negotiate a different life, remembering and honouring our loved ones.
Get in touch and allow me to guide you through these times.
