Ear Microsuction has been around for a long time until recently carried out by HCPs in GP Surgeries. It is no longer widely available due to it now not being classified as an Essential Service but is a Specialised Service.
Ear Syringing is now considered bad practice due to the potential damage it can cause to the ear canal. Ear Micro-suction is the current standard and safest method of Ear Wax removal using a machine that sucks softened wax like a small hoover.
This course was always taught by Medics to Medics and as an ex paramedic I was the 1st to bring out training to the non medic aesthetics industry having been taught by an ENT Dr.
There is currently a 9 week waiting list for clients to get their ears Mircosuctioned around the UK.
