🌿 Create & Thrive – This Week at St Mary’s Church, Westwood 🌿

Last week, we began by creating and decorating our own journals and exploring how journalling can support our wellbeing ✍️ It was a gentle introduction to using creativity as a tool for reflection, expression, and self-care.

This week, we are continuing to work in our journals, building on that foundation and exploring new themes around pruning for growth — reflecting on what may need to be gently released to make space for healthier wellbeing, habits, and growth 🌱

💛 You do not need to have attended last week to join us
We have plenty of blank journals available for anyone who is coming for the first time.

We’ll be:
✍️ Continuing creative journalling
🌿 Exploring the theme of pruning for growth
🧠 Reflecting on wellbeing, habits, and change
💭 Using creativity to support emotional expression and self-awareness

Alongside the main activity, there will still be plenty of relaxed, creative activities to enjoy, including:

🧩 Lego
🎨 Colouring & crafts
✨ Diamond art
🧸 Playdough
🎲 Games & jigsaws

Plus refreshments, including a warm homemade soup and a roll 🥣

Whether you want to focus on journalling or simply come along for a relaxed and welcoming space, you are very welcome.

📅 This Wednesday
⏰ 1.30pm – 3.30pm
📍 St Mary’s Church, Westwood, NG16 5QG

All ages welcome

*Adults seeking wellbeing support, community & a warm meal
*Anyone wanting a gentle, creative, supportive space
*Parents & young people including Home schooled and those struggling with anxiety

Come as you are

We look forward to seeing you there 💫
