💚 Brave the Shave – 18th February 2026 💚
We are so proud to share that four members of our amazing team at Anley Hall Nursing Home – Lisa Burrows, Ellie Reczkowska, Ellen Mercer and Darek Reczkowski and our friend Scott Wallace – took part in the Brave the Shave in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
By shaving their hair, they stood in solidarity with those going through cancer treatment and helped raise vital funds for cancer care and research. Working in the care sector for many years, our team sees first-hand how important support and future treatments are for residents and families.
A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported us – your kindness truly makes a difference 💚
☕ Don’t forget – we also welcome the public to our Coffee Morning and our Dementia Support Group every Wednesday at 2pm. Homemade cakes, tea and coffee are always ready, and our team is happy to offer support and guidance to anyone caring for a loved one with dementia.
Together we can support, care and make a difference. 💚

💚BRAVE THE SHAVE💚

We’re incredibly proud to share that some of our amazing Anley Hall team members, Lisa, Ellie, Darek and Ellen are taking on a head shave to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This is such a brave and selfless thing to do, and it’s all in support of a charity that provides vital care, comfort and guidance to people living with cancer – something that touches so many of us, both personally and professionally.

📅 When: Wednesday 18th February @10.30
📍 Where: Anley Hall Nursing Home
🎯 Why: To raise funds and awareness for Macmillan and the incredible work they do every day.

🎄We have had an extremely festive fun week here at Anley 🎄

🧑‍🎄Freda’s playgroup have created some amazing Christmas decorations with our residents 🎅

🎶The children from Settle Primary School came to sing for us which we all enjoyed very much. 🎶

The residents have also been creating their own Christmas cards.

Thank you to everyone who visited us here at Anley.
