Smashed last year’s target👏🏻 - that’s even more local families receiving help with winter struggles

Happy New Year to all our supporters and friends! In 2024 we're once again ready to support struggling families through these winter months with your help.
On that note, the first email I opened today was from Susannah of the and what a wonderfully positive message that was! The 'Warmth & Light’ Winter Solstice Fundraiser that they held on Thursday December 21 raised a magnificent £1760 for our work ❤🙏
This is the second year these lovely people have done this for as and we couldn't be more grateful. Thank you for launching us into 2024 on a note of hope and community!

Amazingly, the Sevenoaks Yoga Collective has sold 79 tickets to our ‘Warmth & Light’ evening tomorrow!
Only ONE ticket remains! Who can bid us £50 for it?? Yes! FIFTY POUNDS, knowing that 100% of that will go via charity Friendsforfamilies to parents within our district who are struggling daily this winter with bills, food and essentials for themselves and their kids?
Added bonus, you’ll enjoy a festive 2.5 hours of soothing yoga, healing sound bath and delicious winter refreshments kindly provided by in Sevenoaks.

Thank you for community synergy, Friends for Families.

A wonderful group of local yoga teachers got together before Christmas to put on a Winter Solstice fundraiser for us. It was a lovely evening, and they've donated the proceeds to us, a magnificent £1300 which will go to help local families who are struggling financially this winter.

We are so grateful to them all - all the participants who bought tickets, and all the yoga teachers who gave their time and expertise to raise funds for us, another heartwarming example of local people coming together to help those in need. Thank you so much 🙏

An incredible gathering of active compassion - what a way to end 2022 and ring in the new year of light 🌟🌟and love! 🫶🏻Heartfelt gratitude to the Sevenoaks wellness community for supporting Warmth and Light!! Friends for Families gratefully received much needed funds raised by this event.
And on the wave of compassion goes to those in most need. FfF highlighted that it was not just the material support that vulnerable mothers appreciated - but knowing that close neighbours CARE and are THERE.

This yoga & sound bath session aims to recharge, restore and relax, finishing with tasty winter refreshments. Welcoming both adults and teens, this event is available for those with no previous yoga experience alongside more experienced yogis too!👌
