Don't we all love a good cup of tea?! So to celebrate National Tea Day we tried a selection of different teas accompanied with home made biscuits which were made this morning by residents. The top tea was lemon and ginger followed by refreshing peppermint! Not many liked green or strawberry tea saying the fruity teas smelled better than they tasted! But by far the best was a good, traditional English breakfast tea!

Good afternoon all! We are setting up a gardening club and are looking for Green Fingered volunteers! If that's you and would like to help residents give their garden a new lease of life we would love to hear from you. The club would be every Tuesday morning 10.30am- 12.30pm. The warmest day of the year and we made the most of it! Back in March we potted sunflower seeds for a sunflower competition and on the conservatory windowsills they all sprouted up so fast! So today we got outside and transfered them into bigger pots. Some liked to get stuck in and get their hands dirty while others chose to sit and breathe in the sunshine!

Your welcome to join us for a tea party! Come and have a cuppa, slice of cake and a natter and help us raise for this nationwide cause.

If you fancy yourself as the next baking star please bring in your creation and there will be a prize for the best bake!

What a lovely afternoon Knitting and Nattering! Thank you to the lovely Sarah who is helping us start a Knit and Natter group. Sarah is a helping hand at teaching new knitters and giving tips and new ideas to those already a pro!

Many residents picked up the wool and needles like a duck to water! Others who used to knit enjoyed sitting with the group watching and chatting to Saah.

We have set ourselves a goal to work together to create Christmas decorations!
