Things not to do when your skin start to peel after your aesthetic facial treatment.
☑️don’t pick at it
☑️don’t use an exfoliator to get rid of it
☑️don’t try and wash it off
☑️don’t sit in direct sunlight
☑️do keep your skin hydrated
☑️use the aftercare products you have been given
☑️wear a high factor SPF
☑️leave it to do it’s thing
Peeling after a results driven treatment is a sign of rejuvenation and can take up to 3 or 4 days for the dead skin cells to come away, revealing those gorgeous new cells underneath.
Trust the process and for best results, leave it alone. It doesn’t look or feel that nice and your make up won’t sit well but wait for those all important results 🤩

I’m Alison, Skinologist

My journey as a skincare professional began 18 years ago when I changed my career and retrained so that I could work closer to home and be around for my growing family. From the minute I did my first facial, I felt like a light had gone on in my head and that feeling has never left me. My passion for skincare has seen me become a college lecturer and then, not one to stay inside my comfort zone, I took on a role as Sales and Training Manager for top Mineral Spa Brand, Spa Find. For the last 7 years I have been travelling the UK training Spa Therapists and designing exclusive treatments for luxury spas such as Ragdale Hall and Eden Hall.

My next chapter sees me opening my skincare and massage clinic where I have partnered with 2 iconic skincare brands. I have something for everyone; Spa Treatments for the ultimate in relaxation and skin conditioning with Spa Find or results driven skin rejuvenation with exclusive, clinical brand AlumierMD.

I will be continually revising and refreshing my treatments to bring you exactly what you are looking for and am happy to bespoke any treatment for you.
