Yes you did read that right.

Connection and community is just as important for your health as what you eat.

And let me be honest, i never even considered this until It was explored in my training as a women’s health coach.

Feeling connected and having a solid community is super important for your well-being, just like what you eat.

Strong relationships can help lower stress, boost happiness, and even add years to your life.

When we feel connected, it gives us emotional support, cuts down on loneliness, and has a big impact on our mental health.

So, while eating healthy is key for your body and mind, making time for meaningful connections and being part of a supportive community is crucial for your heart and mind. 💪

Healthy is having these types of food when you really fancy it and not all the time.

Healthy is all about enjoying every single bite with zero guilt.

Healthy is not about the occasional things like chips and chocolate or whatever is your jam, but more about what you eat day to day.

It’s the daily choices you make that will create your overall lifestyle.

Controversial maybe but your 2 eggs for breakfast is not enough. 🍳🍳

Each egg is going to give you between 6 maybe 7g of protein if you are lucky!.

So you’re looking at 12-14g’s of protein.

And honestly you really need to be aiming for 20- 30g + in each meal.

To some, this seems a lot, but don’t knock it till you have tried it. Ideally pair this with some good fats, fibre and a little carbs for the perfect plate! And if you are new to this and feel like it is a-lot, start slowly!

A diet that is rich in protein is needed in order to thrive! I speak to so many women who are not eating enough protein, often presenting with symptoms such as:

Lack of energy
Cravings
Afternoon Slump
Brain Fog
Blood Sugar Crashes

And one of the first things we look at is diet. Nutrition is foundational when it comes to our health.

What we eat is feeding our cells - we are literally what we eat!

With adequate protein you will be satiated > keeping you full till the next meal or even way past that at times > leading to minimising cravings.

The easiest way to meet your protein requirements is through animal products - it’s a fact, they are the most nutrient dense and most easily absorbed foods….

BUT I appreciate that not everyone eats animal products and there is no judgement here let me tell you… but when we want OPTIMAL health, animal products win. 🥇

If you are veggie or vegan, etc it’s all good, it will just mean you need MORE to reach your protein goals, or you may need to adapt / soak some proteins (legumes) before eating to help make them more digestible.

Pick one thing and start there.

I work with so many women who have tried to change too much too soon. They come to work with me and are surprised how we start small, no overwhelming long to do lists.

Why is this you may be thinking?

Well - its quite simple, if we try and do too much - we achieve nothing and this work which will last you a lifetime, is all about sustainable change for EVER!

So therefore we really do go slow…

If you are wanting to feel better, feel more energised, more vibrancy, motivation, get up and go, glowing skin, better periods, improved mood then pick ONE of the below and do it CONSISTENTLY and see how you feel!

1️⃣Fuel your body and mind with a protein rich breakfast. Aim for 25-40g of protein for your first meal, do it consistently and see what happens!

2️⃣Drink at least 2ltrs of water per day. Hydrate before you caffeinate folks.

3️⃣Get sunlight in the mornings, get outside, no glasses, no contact lenses or sunnies + get the sunlight in your eyes for 10 mins - even when it’s cloudy or rainy.
