We’ve been incredibly fortunate to be supported by The TN card over the past four years. What began as a valued partnership has grown into something far more meaningful, a shared commitment to supporting the wellbeing of our local community.

Last month, the TN card raised £357 for West Kent Mind, bringing their total donations to an incredible £44,000. This funding has made a tangible difference, helping us deliver vital mental health services and ensuring that more people can access the support they need, when they need it.
We’re rooted in our local community, and we believe in the power of community in mental health support. At the heart of the TN Card is that same belief, championing local businesses, encouraging people to shop locally, and creating a network where support flows back into the area. We feel genuinely lucky to work alongside an organisation that not only supports us so significantly financially, but also actively strengthens the sense of belonging and togetherness across West Kent.

From our walking groups at Bradbourne Lakes and one-to-one counselling with no waitlist, to our art and creative groups, there’s something for everyone. Prefer to spend time outdoors? Our gardening group meets every Thursday, come rain or shine 🌱

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re calling on our community to Move for Mental Health, and it couldn’t be easier to get involved.

Set a movement goal that works for you, your friends, workplace, or sports club:

We’re excited to be launching two free 6-month programmes next month.

✨ First up: Making Your Mark

A creative programme for neurodivergent adults.
Join us for two hours a week in a calm, supportive space to explore drawing and watercolour painting, no experience needed. Build confidence, express yourself, and discover the joy of mark-making at your own pace. Sessions are friendly, non-judgemental, and include moments of mindfulness and reflection.

April marks Stress Awareness month in the UK.

This month shines a spotlight on the importance of managing stress, something that affects 74% of people in the UK, often to the point of feeling overwhelmed and significantly impacting both mental and physical wellbeing.

These are all common responses to stress, but they’re also signs that your mind and body may need a little extra care. Taking small steps can make a difference:

💙 Recognise early signs on how your body reacts to stress
🌿 Get some fresh air
💬 Talk to someone you trust
🧘 Do something small that helps you relax; read a book, exercise, or simply take a quiet moment for yourself

Remember that it's okay to ask for support. Let’s use this month to open up conversations about stress, support one another, and remind people that help is available.

Our first Bradbourne Lakes Walk & Talk groups are here! 🌿
Spaces are limited, register today to secure your place.

Join us for a gentle, supportive wellbeing walk where conversation flows naturally and you can connect with others who understand.

Upcoming groups:

Parent, Carer & Baby, Walk & Talk
📅 Thursdays, 10:30am (starting 7 May)

Dog Walkers Wag, Walk & Talk
📅 Fridays, 1:00pm (starting 15 May)

What to expect:
• 1 hour a week for 6 weeks
• Small, supportive groups
• Relaxed walks, conversation & connection
• A chance to boost your mood, enjoy nature and meet others

Each session is led by a trained peer worker, alongside a wellbeing worker from West Kent Mind, a trusted mental health charity, creating a safe and informal space to meet like-minded people.
