Try These 3!!!

If you’re always the one who’s sat at the bottom of the view point watching the bags, or waiting in the car for everyone to finish the bike ride or don’t feel confident enough to join in the paddle boarding… these 3 moves are for you 🩷

Start today & your legs will ready for whatever your summer fun throws at you 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼☀️☀️☀️

I want you to start with 10 repetitions every other day 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

1. Sit to Stand (or hover a little bit off the seat) x 10 ☑️

2. Glute bridges (use a few solid books for heels to press on) x 10 ☑️

3. Step ups- step up onto the books or bottom of the stairs - step back down repeat 10 each side ☑️

Do these every other day for a week & gradually add a couple more reps each week until you’re doing 20 of each comfortably 🩷 Be consistent here 👌🏼

We have to stop!

Pelvic floor changes are common in midlife & beyond but that doesn’t mean you have to put up with them

So many women quietly live with leaks, heaviness, or discomfort because it feels embarrassing or ‘just part of ageing’ 💛

Small symptoms can chip away at your confidence, stop you moving the way you want to, and make you feel less like you. But with the right support, you can feel stronger, more confident, and back in control of your body again 💛 & just like muscles in the rest of your body your pelvic floor can be strengthened & lengthened 💛

You don’t have to sort this out on your own 💛

Are You Avoiding Weights?

You don’t need to avoid weights to protect your pelvic floor

In fact, avoiding them completely might be the very thing stopping you from feeling stronger & your pelvic floor symptoms not changing

I see so many women in their 40s, 50s and beyond using
very light weights skipping strength training altogether, worried they’ll make everything worse & I completely understand that 🩷

When you understand your breath
& pelvic your pelvic floor works together, how strengthening your glutes can protect your pelvic floor & how whole body strength can beca game changer for pelvic floor symptoms, everything starts to feel better, you feel more capable calm & confident 🩷
