We went through years of no one recommending us after lockdown, as like everything the waitlist for an appointment was crazy and those who knew us wanted to keep the secret. They’d say ‘I never tell anyone!’

We are so tucked away in the heart of Sevenoaks , our treatment space is a ‘if you know, you know’ kinda place.

Business is built on recommendations, we are now back to normal, adding more working hours so do please tell your friends now lovelies!

Honouring Mum on her 79th Birthday.

She left us too soon for her next adventures but I feel her in a hug from my daughter, hear her on the wind and see her in the stars.

As we blew out her candle then rain fell for just a moment. Mum was with us (and telling me off for using fire with the kids in a forest no doubt!).

Sunday Share ✨

1. End of term celebrations Wanderwild event. They made it!

2. Full Moon spell jar making with the kids.

3. A very rare date night with dinner .

4. Love love love my new kitchen altar. The shelf was handmade by the amazing . The wood smelt so good when it arrived.

5. We refreshed our garden signposts which had become weathered over the years, all the special places on our lives.

6. I have been deep diving into my tarot this week. I’ve been learning over the last couple of years and would love to make this an offering for clients by the autumn.

7. Bessy continues to love exploring the outdoors. She has a particular love of Nana’s tree which is very fitting as Nana always had cats!

I love this photo from our last trip to Glastonbury, Tui is teaching Terence all about Brigid (her favourite goddess) who is depicted on the Tor as her transition from goddess to saint allowed her to survive the Christianizing world. We also think we have found her on the abbey . . . if anyone can confirm this?

Sunday Share ☀️ some small snippets of our week. We’ve been painting when not working mainly (a summer refresh) but here’s some lovely bits inbetween.

1. Dragging my exhausted husband outside at 11pm because I want us to watch the bats 🦇.

2. One little project was to refresh the kids art wall.

3. Our kitten Bessy is finally allowed outside (supervised). Loving the witchy aesthetic she adds to the cabin 🧙.

4. Terence got himself 6 new tattoos. A Tui bird for Tui, a celtic sun for Thomas and the four element symbols.

5. A retro phone I somehow resisted when thrifting.

6. I love this house near us - I’m not sure if anyone lives here but am always looking for a For Sale sign. Manifesting time . . .

7. The kids brought me sunflowers for being a great mum. I don’t feel I particularly have this week so made me emosh.

8. My meditation students learnt to work with the chakras this week, enjoying some sound healing (forgot to take a pic so this one’s from last year).

Reflexology is one of my favourite treatments because it helps with literally everything!

This ancient art of healing uses pressure points on the feet relating to specific organs and glands in the body to rebalance hormones, detoxify, alleviate pain, aid digestion, reduce stress, tension and all round promotes self-healing in a very grounding way.

It’s a full body treatment through the feet, using warm peppermint-infused mitts and nourishing balms while you are wrapped up on our cosy couch.

Sunday Share 🌞. All this heat goes very much against our cosy ethos but trying to embrace it!

1. Breakfast outside everyday has been gorgeous.

2. Tui writing to the fairies, she left them bread and honey too (the dog ate the bread 🤫).

3. It was gratitude & loving kindness week for our meditation students. The MOST beautiful practices.

4. Sauna and wild swim on the hottest day of the year.

5. Wonky but delicious lemon and lavender scones (I can’t ever be bothered with recipes so just chucked in some flower heads and lemon rind with a basic mix).

6. I’ve been up before 6am in this heat so have enjoyed hours of quiet time before the house woke this weekend.

The Lodge at Riverhead offers women a range of holistic therapies and meditation. As a mum of two and small business owner, I know how vital self-care practices are to maintain well -being. I have been a therapist for 14 years and am passionate about promoting self care in our busy modern culture. I have a BSc Hons in Holistic Therapies and have trained with The British School of Meditation.

Escape to my log cabin tucked away in the heart of Sevenoaks, to rest and reinvigorate with aromatherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage and holistic facials. Enjoy 100% natural products, carefully selected and blissfully scented.
