Did you know that the PPG produce a newsletter at least twice a year giving information for patients about news from the surgery? The newsletter may be sent to you through the NHS app, or via email or text message but only if you have given your email or mobile number to the Town Medical Centre and permission to use it to receive information.

If you would like to receive the newsletter and other important communications from the surgery you can update your details using e-Consult using the following link https://www.townmedicalcentre.co.uk/econsult and
then choose Sick notes, tests or routine requests.
From the next page select Administrative Help.

In this way you will not have to phone in and reception staff can deal with your request while dealing with other administration.

We are very pleased to announce that we have a new doctor who started with us on Monday 3rd November.

Dr Haseeb Tariq with be taking over the patients who were previously registered with
Dr Zhang.

Seasonal Flu Vaccine 2025/26

The Surgery can start to offer the Seasonal Flu vaccine to from September for following patients:
• Pregnant ladies
• Children aged 2-3 years on (31.8.25)

From 1st October we can offer all eligible patients the flu vaccine. The surgery will send invitations to all eligible patients, but if you do not receive an invite you can also call the surgery to book your appointment.
This year we are trialling online booking, patients will be sent a link from which you can then book your own appointment.

Sat 11th Oct Saturday clinic (only a few appointments left)

This Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, come and visit our information stand at Maidstone Hospital!

Cancer can arise in any of the female reproductive organs, and each year in the UK, over 22,000 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer.

Our dedicated Kent Oncology Centre staff are in main reception throughout this week to answer questions, provide support, and raise awareness about gynaecological cancers.
