As for myself, I originally found Pilates whilst training in London in Contemporary and Classical Dance. I found it was a great way to prepare the body for demanding training, as well as accelerate my technical development and restore sore muscles following rehearsals. Joseph Pilates had a vision for everyone, man, women, and child to practice Pilates. Like Pilate himself, I am happy when I see people practising and enjoying Pilates and discovering the additional benefits this Mindful Movement approach can bring to the health and wellbeing of the whole person. My clients come from all walks of life, the current youngest being 12 and the eldest 93! Everyone is welcome, whether practising purely for pleasure, to enhance performance or restore the body to health following injury or pain. Pilates Evolution & Movement aims to support you in finding the right starting point to achieve your personal goals. Once you're feeling secure in the basics, a whole new world of exercise, movement and wellbeing can open up to you.
