Residents at Millbrook House showed their competitive side this week during a lively game of darts with Marcia 🎯

From the action shots, you can tell just how fast-paced things got, everyone was eager to give it their all! Marcia had to stay on her toes (and keep her knees covered!) as the competitive arrows were flying.

There were plenty of laughs along the way as everyone aimed for their highest score, but in the end, it was all about joining in, having fun and enjoying each other’s company.

We had another lovely birthday celebration today at Millbrook House 🎉

One of our long-term residents, Juliet, was made to feel extra special. After a lunchtime chorus of “Happy Birthday,” she was surprised with a delicious chocolate cake, cards and a thoughtful gift 🎂🎁

As you can see, Juliet was truly overwhelmed and overjoyed and loved her present so much, she put it on straight away!

Residents at Millbrook House enjoyed a fantastic visit last week from Joni and Susan, known together as Belle Street 🎶
They delivered a lively cabaret-style performance, blending vintage classics, show tunes and Rat Pack favourites, all brought to life with warmth, humour and plenty of charm.
Some of the residents’ favourite songs included The Lady is a Tramp, Hit the Road Jack and the much-loved Millbrook House classic, Somewhere Over the Rainbow 🌈
There was a real party atmosphere, with residents tapping along, clapping and even singing along to the music!
When asked if they’d like Joni and Susan to return, the answer was a resounding “yes” — we can’t wait to welcome them back soon.

We loved welcoming Annie and Dainty back for another visit before they head off for their busy summer on the beach. These perfectly behaved beauties are always such a hit with everyone 🥰
