I have just been awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for my service in the NHS Ambulance Service.

It will sit proudly next to my Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal. Another big thankyou to my wonderful Wife for putting up with all the work stresses that go with the job to allow me to be awarded them.

We look forward to welcoming all our pupils back to school tomorrow and hope everyone had a great break.

Our team's inset days are going smoothly with packed schedules of training and updates across the school. 💻🖊

We are grateful to James from Watson First Aid Training for providing comprehensive first aid training to 24 staff members and refreshers to many more. John Watson, our excellent Estates Manager, is spearheading this initiative with the aim of ensuring all Rookwood staff are first aid trained in the near future.

A big thank you to James for his visit 👏🚑, although he did cause some confusion among our staff by making them think they were seeing double!

An absolute pleasure to be invited to Rookwood School in Andover this week to deliver my one day Peadiatric First Aid for Schools course. 24 attendees from support staff and the teaching faculty over two days. We covered basic life support, emergency situations and defib usage among other items!
