⭐️ PAST LIFE MEMORIES IN CHILDREN, WHAT TO DO? ⭐️
I am often asked if I can give a PLR to a child. The answer is NO & here are the reasons why, along with things YOU can do to support a child with memories.
Children are much more likely to remember past lives & it’s quite common. More often these memories fade with age, sometimes will continue for a while, sometimes they are fleeting. And more rarely, some can regain a lot more memories going forward into adulthood.
Adults often respond to this in two ways, either to dismiss what the child is saying, or by wanting them to remember more. The child themselves might even be focused on wanting to know more!
SO HOW DO WE DEAL WITH THIS SITUATION ?
Firstly, never dismiss what a child is saying as impossible or made up. By doing this you close them down in a way that could create lack of trust or worth within themselves. As well as close down any potential memories that their Soul chose to remember for some reason.
Choose instead to support the understanding of the after life 🙂 Perhaps explain that we forget certain things for a good reason, as sometimes if we remembered everything it might stop us from doing something fantastic we want to achieve & do this time around in life.
Tell them they are very lucky to have some memories of their past lives, & they might even remember more if that’s what their Soul has chosen to do.
You can tell them that everything they are supposed to remember they will remember naturally & all the memories that they do not need will not surface & stay in the past.
Although hypnotherapy can sometimes be useful for older children for anxiety reasons, having a past life regression would not be.
Past life regressions can bring up negative experiences & even trauma, & for a child whose mind is still developing that could cause them issues in life going forward. A child is also more likely to experience false memories in a regression situation.
As adults we are able, with the help of the therapist to understand & make sense of any negative experiences in relation to what we have been learning or going through in our life now, but for a child without life experience or maturity this is of course different, and so rather than healing something from a past life, we could instead be creating an issue in this life that wasn’t there before!
It is for this reason that experienced therapist’s in past life regression do not see anyone below the age of 18.
It is not recommended professionally & is against good practice guidelines!
There is always the opportunity to have a PLR once an adult of course, when the time is right.
