Hello!

I’m Emma, your friendly neighbourhood hypnotherapist.

I work with a wide range of clients with various issues that are holding them back in life.

But I specialise in anxiety.

This week, I started work with two clients struggling with severe anxiety. The day following their hypnotherapy session:

✨Client A - experienced calm and deep sleep.
✨Client B - faced multiple anxiety triggers, but didn’t spiral into a panic attack as they normally would.

Progress may look different for everyone, but each small shift adds up to a life of greater freedom.

If you’re struggling with anxiety or panic attacks, know that change is possible.

Anxiety doesn’t have to define you.

💭 Anxiety is your brain’s way of trying to protect you, but it often misfires.
💭 Rewiring your subconscious can reduce your triggers and build inner strength over time.

You can rewrite your story, one moment at a time.

Comment ‘CHANGE’ and I will send you my FREE anxiety hypnosis audio 🧡

Make future you proud.

This time last year, I was struggling to find purpose and direction.

Fast forward one year, and my mind has never been stronger or more at peace.

I’m a qualified hypnotherapist and ice bath addict - and it’s the life for me!

Cold plunging boosts dopamine levels by 250% (read that again!) So unlike a quick spike from activities like scrolling social media, this dopamine surge unfolds gradually and lasts longer.

The intense cold also forces the mind to anchor itself in the present moment. The shock of cold water disrupts scattered thoughts, creating a state of true mental stillness.

But the reality is: real transformation happens when you pair habits like this with intentional mindset work.

With every new client, I track progress through 8 outcome measure questions. The difference in just 30 days can be staggering (here’s a couple of my favourites from a recent client!):

💭 “I recognise my limiting beliefs and take action”
Day 1: 3/10 ➡️ Day 30: 10/10
💭 “I am comfortable with who I am”
Day 1: 2/10 ➡️ Day 30: 10/10

You have 40 days left in 2024. Why not use 30 of those to kickstart your journey into 2025?

Start strengthening your mind, building healthy habits, and creating the version of yourself you know you can be.

A lot can change in a short space of time. What’s your first step?

Your brain is designed to change
(and it all starts with repetition)

Your brain is always rewiring itself based on what you focus on and repeat.

The key to creating long-term change is consistency. Just like walking the same path through a forest eventually clears the way, repetition strengthens the neural pathways in your brain.

Here are 3 ways to start using repetition to your advantage:

1. Choose one positive affirmation
↳ Pick a phrase aligned with the change you want, like “I am confident” or “I am focussed.”
↳ Say it out loud or write it down every day. The more you repeat it, the more your brain believes it.

2. Practice daily visualisation
↳ Spend 2–3 minutes each day visualising the habit, mindset, or outcome you’re working toward. Imagine yourself living it, feeling it, and achieving it.
↳ This helps strengthen the mental pathways tied to your goal.

3. Stack new habits onto existing routines
↳ Want to repeat a new action? Attach it to something you already do daily. For example, repeat your affirmation while brushing your teeth or visualise your goal while having your morning coffee.

Remember: Every time you repeat a thought or action, you’re reinforcing the path in your brain. Keep at it, and soon it will feel effortless.

What’s one thought, habit, or belief you’ll start repeating today?

Self-care isn’t just a trend?!

It’s actually a scientifically-backed way to improve your brain health (hear me out)

Self-care practices can help reduce stress, improve mood, and boost cognitive function.

Here’s 4 ways to rewire your brain for wellness:

1. Mindfulness
- try setting aside 5 minutes daily to focus on your breathing. Small moments make a big impact!

2. Physical Activity
- even a brisk 10 minute walk can reset your brain and elevate your energy.

3. SLEEP (the ultimate reset)
- prioritise a consistent sleep schedule to optimise brain health and mood.

4. Positive Social Connections
- make time for meaningful conversations - your brain will thank you!

Small daily habits lead to lasting changes in your brain and overall wellness.

How do you incorporate self-care into your routine?

Lasting mindset change IS possible.

We’ve all been told that to change our habits, we just need more discipline or better willpower.

But if that were the case, why do we find ourselves slipping back into the same cycles, no matter how much we try?

The answer lies in the subconscious mind.

Hypnotherapy is a unique tool that works at this deeper level, helping us identify and rewrite the beliefs that drive our habits and behaviours.

By addressing these subconscious patterns, hypnotherapy allows for changes that stick, reshaping the way we:

- think
- feel
- and ultimately, act

Recently, I worked with a client who had spent the entirety of her adult life pleasing others and suppressing her true thoughts and emotions.

She was in constant fear of what others might say about her, to the point where she wouldn’t even get up from a table during a meal.

In one single hypnotherapy session, we addressed the subconscious patterns underlying this behaviour.

Within the first week she noticed a shift, taking and passing an exam with ‘little to no self-doubt’.

After 2 weeks she was feeling more comfortable and less fearful in social situations.

After 30 days the change was significant, and truly wonderful, to see.

She was no longer ‘hiding’ and was seeing increasing ‘glimmers of being my true self’ with every passing day.

Seeing clients experience these transformations is why I’m passionate about this work.

Hypnotherapy can unlock the parts of ourselves that we often overlook, leading to sustainable and empowering change.

Curious about how hypnotherapy could support your growth journey?

The 3 words that changed my life…

I am enough.

When I started my hypnotherapy training, this was the one belief that was of the utmost importance.

I followed the advice of my incredible teacher Marisa Peer :

- I wrote ‘I am enough’ over every mirror in my house
- I set a twice daily ‘I am enough’ reminder on my phone
- I said the words ‘I am enough’ to myself daily (I still do)

And the craziest thing happened.

3 weeks in I stopped smoking.
Not with any conscious effort.
The desire just completely left me.

My motivation heightened.
My self-belief grew.
I felt enough.

And so I started a meditation podcast.
Based solely on ‘I am’ statements.

Because I knew, and had experienced first hand, the power ‘I am’ statements have on the mind.

Today I have released episode 10.

HERE’S HOW 👇

1. CHOOSE A BELIEF

What to do:

- Reflect on a limiting belief that regularly surfaces and holds you back. This could be something like, “I’m not enough”, “I can’t be successful”, or “I’m not as capable as others.”

Why it matters:

- Identifying limiting beliefs is the first step in understanding the subconscious patterns that affect our self-worth and actions.

Action:

- Write down this belief in a journal or note it on your phone.

2. REWRITE IT

What to do:

- Take this limiting belief and turn it into a supportive, empowering one.

- For example, transform “I’m not enough” into “I am growing and learning every day” or “I bring unique strengths to everything I do.”

Why it matters:

- By consciously choosing new beliefs, you actively rewrite the narrative that guides your thoughts, shifting the way you perceive yourself and your potential.

Action:

- Write down this new belief and say it out loud. Let yourself feel the positive emotion tied to it.

3. ANCHOR IT

What to do:

- Commit to focussing on this new belief daily. Repeat it each morning, place it somewhere visible, or set a reminder on your phone.

Why it matters:

- Repetition reinforces belief. By regularly reminding yourself of this empowering belief, you’re training your subconscious mind to adopt it.

Action:

- Check in with yourself throughout the week. Notice how repeating this belief impacts your thoughts, feelings, and actions.

7 years ago I was sat in a job centre as a 24 year old single mum of two.

Sometimes the clearest path forward isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about tuning in to how you want to feel and following that feeling, step by step.

Back in 2018, I took a job with no grand plan, just because it looked fun.

I didn’t realise it then, but my thought process - choosing joy, connection, and a sense of purpose - was leading me exactly where I needed to be.

That job didn’t just lift me up in a tough time; it actually introduced me to my now husband.

And of course, taught me the power of acting on the feelings that light us up.

Since then, I’ve learned to trust the journey, even when the destination is unclear.

The right path isn’t always about where you’re headed. Sometimes it’s about how each step feels.

If you’re feeling uncertain know this: every experience, every attempt, and every lesson is part of the journey.

Enjoy it 🧡

Got 6 minutes to transform your mindset?

Life is busy, but I believe you can make big changes in small moments.

That’s why I created The 6 Minute Mind.

It’s a short, daily meditation that helps you start, boost or end your day with focus, clarity, and intention - using powerful ‘I am’ statements to rewire your mind.

I’ve been hearing from listeners who’ve said it’s helped them manage stress, be more productive and feel more positive.

If you’ve got 6 minutes, it’s worth it.
