What a fun day we had today.
This morning the ladies enjoyed manicure’s while others experienced a VR session with Phil.
After lunch we went on an armchair travel trip to Switzerland. We had a quiz followed by Swiss chocolate tasting.

Anne said it was a fabulous afternoon.

This morning we had our monthly songs of praise with Brian the vicar, accompanied by Paul on the Keyboard.

This afternoon we were entertained by the brilliant Dave and Rodney, especially for Garda’s birthday. 🎂

The musical theme from the chaps was Eurovision, we all enjoyed a singalong.

We all wished Garda a very happy birthday, she was showered with cards, gifts and cake.

We have been very busy today at Springfield nursing home.
This morning we enjoyed word games and it was a team effort as everyone joined in. Then this afternoon we had a relaxing painting group.
And John enjoyed a bit of sun.

Today we are celebrating senior health and fitness day at Springfield Nursing Home - Hartford Care.

Twice a week we take part in chair exercise sessions.
once a month we have our boxercise sessions and also our seated Tai chi sessions.

As well as those sessions we enjoy balloon 🎈 tennis and hoopla games.

We all enjoy keeping fit. 💪

Another great day at Springfield Nursing Home - Hartford Care.

We enjoyed a men’s club trip to the Royal British Legion Shanklin, we were joined by our sister homes Inver House Care Home - Hartford Care and The Elms Care Home - Hartford Care and family members.

We enjoyed a pint 🍺 and a few games of dominoes.

Back at the home, some of the ladies enjoyed making their own jewellery.

A very special celebration took place at Springfield last week as Mary celebrated her 90th birthday🎉💐

Mary spent the day surrounded by love and laughter, joined by her son and three of her oldest school friends. It was wonderful to see everyone reminiscing, sharing stories, enjoying birthday cake, and catching up on so many treasured memories.

Moments like these remind us just how important friendship, family, and connection truly are💙
