Our first client to have Swift after 3 treatments has complete resolution of both verrucae. The patient also had multiple verrucae on the other foot which we could not treat due to metal pins within the joints of the foot. However the immune reaction as a result of swift treatment has resulted in these too starting to resolve. Loving our new Swift system and patients love the results too

We are happy to announce that Jade has now joined us at Footsteps as our Foot health professional having completed her training. Jade will be holding routine footcare clinics in Shanklin and Ryde.

Ingrowing toenail are a painful and often infected condition. Rapid relief is essential to prevent future infection. Often patients will attend their GP and be issued antibiotics but not offered treatment to relieve the issue leading to repeated infections and further antibiotics.
At footsteps we can easily relieve the issue painlessly in a single appointment for early single episodes. For very painful examples we can use local anaesthetics to numb the area before treatment and for stubborn repetitive examples we can offer long term resolutions with minor surgery under local anaesthetic to prevent future issues.

That's a wrap until new year folks.
Its been a busy year of new developments and services this year our swift verrucae treatment is proving popular and effective.
Next year brings Jade in to do more work as our new Foot health practitioner, so many patients with routine needs may see her after February.
Thank you to all our clients and the lovely gifts and cards we have received.
We open again Mon 5th Jan. Phone line messages will be monitored for emergency advice over the break otherwise all other messages will be answered on our return.

At Footsteps we carry out this surgery on a weekly basis. Having done thousands of procedures over my many years, we are the experts and will offer a far better experience and success rate than A&E.

NHS England reported 3,890 ingrown toenails presented at A&E last winter. Podiatrists are the experts in foot and lower limb care and can provide specialist care for ingrown nails, including minor surgery to resolve them. Neurovascular corns are stubborn painful corns that are so much more painful than normal corns due to the involvement of blood vessels and nerves being embedded in the hard skin. We now have both Hyphrecation and Swift emblation options for their treatment. This enables us to remove or destroy tissue with a very high success rate.
