Relax With Lucy & Co was set up to offer well-being and mental health support through the provision of mindfulness & relaxation interventions. The organisation was set up by our founder Lucy Livesey - mental health nurse and bereaved mother following the loss of her daughter Ellie in 2017. Lucy and our team of instructors deliver projects to help support the baby loss community through the development of mindfulness & relaxation resources. We offer both well-being baby loss tailored support in addition to general well-being support to help people improve their overall sense of wellbeing. All proceeds raised, goes into our Ellie's Gift Project fund which funds all our baby loss interventions and the ongoing maintenance of our Ellie's Gift app.

🦋 Say Their Name Day 2026 🦋

Today are joining to launch Say Their Name Day here in the UK.

Today is an opportunity for our community of bereaved families to come together in memory of our babies.

We invite you to leave your little one’s name, nickname or special symbols that honour them in the comments. At Ellie’s Gift we hold space for you and your babies, today and always 💜

This week, in the UK, Spring arrived. Bringing with it lighter evenings, warm sunshine and trees filled with blossom.

When grieving the change of seasons can often feel personal. Time changing, moving towards due dates or milestones and further away from your little one.
Seasonal observations, such as daffodils or tulips, can restore memories of years past and how life has changed since.

At Ellie’s Gift, we gently remind you that as time passes, your babies memory moves forward with you. Never moving ‘on’, always with. 💜

✨ From one Mum to another ✨

Ahead of Mother’s Day we asked our community to share their words of comfort for those who may be feeling apprehensive ahead of this weekend.

For those who are experiencing their first Mother’s Day since losing their baby, or for those who this year stings that bit more.

We hope these wonderful words resonate with you this weekend.

Thank you to everyone who shared these beautiful words.

💜 If you need extra support this weekend, join Lucy at 10am on YouTube tomorrow https://m.youtube.com//streams 💜

We know how difficult Mother’s Day is for many of us.

It can lead to a surge of complex emotions and deeper feelings of grief. However you choose to spend the day-whether that’s cherishing your little one’s memory or distracting yourself with something that brings you joy-your feelings and how you choose to spend the day, is valid.

Lucy will be holding a special meditation at 10am on Sunday morning to support you and hold space for you and your little one’s.

✨ The session will be LIVE on our Ellie’s Gift YouTube channel and in our private Facebook community.✨

🚴🏻‍♀️ Movement and exercise can help to clear the mind, release emotions, and create space to breathe when things feel overwhelming.

Training, just like Lucy is for our Ride For Baby Loss, isn’t just about preparing for the miles ahead. It’s also about taking care of our mental health and finding moments of release.

🚴‍♀️ This year we’d love more of our community to join us as we cycle from Manchester to Blackpool, on Sunday July 12th. Whether you ride alongside us, cheer from the sidelines, or encourage someone you love to take part. Every mile ridden helps raise awareness and support families facing baby loss.

If you’ve been thinking about signing up, this is your sign 💜

You can find more details and how to sign up here- https://www.ellies.gift/fundraise

🚴‍♀️ Join us for the Manchester to Blackpool Charity Bike Ride! 🚴‍♂️

On Sunday 12 July 2026, we’re inviting our community to join Lucy and Rick and take on a 60-mile bike ride from MediaCityUK in Salford to Blackpool, to raise funds for Ellie’s Gift and Team Ash.

Team Ash was created in memory of Lucy’s twin, Ashley Livesey, who tragically died during a school cross-country run aged just 15. Since then, the charity has helped place life-saving defibrillators in communities and supports SADS.

Funds raised will also help Ellie’s Gift raise awareness of the Ellie’s Gift app and extend support to families facing baby loss. 💜

🚴 60 miles through Lancashire country lanes
📍 Salford → Blackpool
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Finish celebration with friends & family

All you need is a bike, your lunch, and some motivation!

We’re encouraging riders to aim to raise £100+ to help make a real difference.

💜 Comment or message us for further information or head to the sign up link in our bio to join the Ellie’s Gift fundraising team!

Let’s ride together and make an impact. 🚴‍♂️✨

Last month we shared our Monthly Support Space in this new format and we’ve received such lovely feedback from many of you. It’s clear that having something you can access in your own time really matters. 💜

Our Monthly Support Space will continue on YouTube Live and within the Ellie’s Gift Facebook group, with the recording saved so you can return to it whenever feels right for you. You’re welcome to join live or watch back later.

This remains a quiet, reflective space with guided reflection and gentle prompts, offering comfort, grounding and connection, without any pressure to speak or be seen.

This space is for anyone who has experienced pregnancy or baby loss, at any time and in any circumstances. No experience of mindfulness is needed.

Just come exactly as you are.

💜 Spotlight on You: Supporting Those
Who Support Others 💜

Each month at Ellie’s Gift, we will be taking a moment to recognise and celebrate the healthcare professionals who walk alongside families through the most heartbreaking moments.

This month, we’re honoured to shine a light on Nikki Galloway who is the bereavement lead midwife at East Lancashire Hospital Trust.

Nikki shared these beautiful words with us, about her job role “Honouring each baby’s life and creating meaningful moments for families gives my work a profound sense of purpose and it’s something I never take for granted.”

As part of our commitment to those who care for others, Ellie’s Gift offers healthcare professionals:

✨ A monthly mindfulness resource, emailed on the first Thursday of each month

✨ Audio tracks on our website to support before, during and after shifts

To Nikki and to all healthcare professionals walking these paths with compassion, we thank you 💜

You can sign up to our monthly emails and access our audio tracks- https://www.ellies.gift/audio-tracks-for-

🦋 In the early days of grief following the loss of your baby, it can be hard to know where to turn.

So often we are yet to find our support network or charities whose resources will help us find some ease, which can make these difficult days even harder to navigate.

This week our community of bereaved parents have shared with us the small moments that helped them through this period.

We hope their words help you, if you’ve found us in the early days of grief, or you’ll share this post to reach those who desperately need our community in this moment 💜

Relax With Lucy & Co

Relax with Lucy & Co was set up in 2017 by Lucy who is a Mental Health Nurse & Well-being Practitioner. We are a not for profit organisation and our mission is to improve the wellbeing of individuals during the antenatal and postnatal period. We aim to empower individuals, enabling them to feel happier and healthier through the application of wellbeing based interventions.

Lucy (top middle)- Lucy is the founder of Relax with Lucy & Co, a mental health nurse & well-being practitioner. She teaches meditation, mindfulness and hypnobirthing. Lucy’s first interest in well-being developed some years ago when she experienced anxiety first-hand and she wanted to seek out ways in which to help herself feel calmer. It was through her own self discovery that Lucy went onto complete additional training to be able to teach people to find a sense of calm and balance. Lucy is able to do this through her work as a nurse, birth worker and meditation instructor. Lucy is warm, caring, compassionate and continues to learn and develop.

Michelle (top left) – Michelle has a background in holistic therapy and has a strong passion for the promotion of well-being. Over recent years she has completed various training courses and works as a reflexologist, reiki practitioner and breast feeding support worker alongside her role at Relax with Lucy & Co. She continues to develop her own knowledge in the world of mindfulness & meditation which has been transformative for her and uses her knowledge and expertise when working with people from all different backgrounds. Michelle is empathetic, caring and compassionate and her passion is strong for helping others. She uses her own life experience both on a personal and professional level when working with people which really enables her to relate and connect on a deeper level.

Rachel (top right) – Rachel works as a holistic therapist alongside her role at Relax with Lucy & Co.Her journey into the holistic world has helped guide Rachel towards the benefits of meditation. She has felt a natural calling towards mindfulness from an early age and holds a passion for meditation and all things well being. Rachel has undergone further training to teach meditation and continues to deepen her knowledge around meditation and mindfulness, ensuring she is deepening her own practice. Rachel’s dedication towards her own well-being as well as the well-being of others, really shines through when she is working with people from various backgrounds. She is genuinely lovely, caring and accepting of anyone. She has a natural ability when connecting with others and helping them is her true goal.
