Relax With Lucy & Co was set up to offer well-being and mental health support through the provision of mindfulness & relaxation interventions. The organisation was set up by our founder Lucy Livesey - mental health nurse and bereaved mother following the loss of her daughter Ellie in 2017. Lucy and our team of instructors deliver projects to help support the baby loss community through the develop

ment of mindfulness & relaxation resources. We offer both well-being baby loss tailored support in addition to general well-being support to help people improve their overall sense of wellbeing. All proceeds raised, goes into our Ellie's Gift Project fund which funds all our baby loss interventions and the ongoing maintenance of our Ellie's Gift app.

Nine years ago today, Ellie came into this world 💜

Since then, Ellie’s parents, Lucy and Rick have turned their love and grief into something so powerful.

A beautiful gift from Ellie, for others who know this pain. In her name, so many families have found comfort, connection, and support. Through both Ellie’s Gift and Ellie’s Rainbow, these families have found comfort in their hardest moments.

🦋 To mark Ellie’s birthday, Lucy and Rick decided to donate 12 copies of our book, ‘A Mindful Approach to Grief and Baby Loss’ to St Mary’s Hospital, where Ellie was born. These books will be gifted to families on the bereavement unit.

Lucy has officially wrapped up her placement on the bereavement unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital- and she’s achieved distinctions across the board! 💜

Over the past few months, she has worked alongside Laura, Lucy and the wider SWAN team, gaining invaluable experience and witnessing first hand the incredible kindness, compassion and dedication shown to bereaved families every day.

Lucy has learnt so much throughout her placement, both professionally and personally, and has loved being part of such a supportive and inspiring team.

We’re excited to soon share more about the work she has been involved in during her time on the unit and the difference it could make.

We know the experience she’s had here will shape our support for bereaved families here at Ellie’s Gift 💜

💜 TFMR Awareness Day, a day for our community to stand together and raise awareness of the complexities around termination for medical reasons, to those who haven’t walked our path.

Ellie’s Gift was created from Lucy’s experience of saying goodbye to her daughter Ellie, following a TFMR.
Lucy felt Ellie’s gift, her legacy to the word, was to support families prior to delivering their baby enabling them to have the beautiful birth she experienced.

This led to the creation of the Ellie’s Gift App, a free app available on both Apple and Android devices and now downloaded worldwide.

This year we will be launching an TFMR area within the app, and months of work with families with lived experience.

Today, and every day, we stand with other TFMR families. Honouring and holding space for our precious little ones 💜

Lucy, Ellie’s Mum, has been exceptionally busy over the past few weeks! 💜

Alongside her ongoing placement at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, where she has been spending time supporting families with the bereavement maternity team, she has also presented at the National Rainbow Clinic Baby Conference at the Whitworth Art Gallery, sharing her lived experience and the work of Ellie’s Gift.

She’s also been busy behind the scenes helping to build connections, raise awareness, and champion support for families navigating baby loss and pregnancy after loss.

And in true Lucy style… she’s somehow found time to train for our Ride for Loss 🚴‍♀️
Cycling from Manchester to Blackpool on July 12th to raise funds for both Ellie’s Gift and Team Ash!

In 2017, Lucy and her family faced the devastating decision to say goodbye to their much loved baby girl following a serious heart condition. Her birth was filled with intention, gentleness, and love. Lucy and Rick lovingly created a space to honour her life in the most meaningful way possible.

Many people don’t ask about a bereaved parent’s baby because they’re scared of upsetting them.

But the truth is… most parents are already thinking about their baby every single day. 💜

You won’t “remind” them.
You won’t make them suddenly remember.

What you will do is give them the precious chance to speak their baby’s name, share their story, and know their baby mattered.

🎬 Last weekend we concluded this period of filming for the new TFMR area for the Ellie’s Gift App 📹

It’s been an emotional few weeks and such an honour hearing about the babies who brought these parents to connect with our community.

Each story is unique, and we hope these experiences will help many families who access this area of the app feel less alone.

Huge thank you to Robbie for being such a wonderful support and creating such a relaxing filming experience.

💜 Make Their Name Part of the Journey 💜

On Sunday 12 July 2026, we’ll be taking on a 60-mile bike ride from MediaCityUK, Salford to Blackpool to raise funds for Ellie’s Gift and Team Ash.

This ride is about remembrance, love, and making sure those we miss are part of every mile with us, whether this is your precious baby or a child or adult you dearly miss.

There are two meaningful ways you can support the ride and have your baby or loved one included in the journey:

✨ Donate £5 – Add your baby’s name to our remembrance flag, which will be carried across the finish line. https://shorturl.at/w1w7O

🚴‍♀️ Donate £25 – Sponsor a 15-mile section of the ride in memory of your loved one. Lucy will acknowledge them in ride video content, and we’ll share their story on our social media pages during the weekend of the ride. Please message for further information.

Funds raised will help Team Ash continue placing life-saving defibrillators in communities and supporting SADS, while also helping Ellie’s Gift raise awareness of our app and support families facing baby loss.

Every mile is for someone loved. Every name matters. 💜
