I graduated from the University of Southampton and completed my junior training in Surrey within the NHS before moving back to the area to specialise in spinal and sports physiotherapy privately. I have since gained further Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy, with further qualifications in Sports Massage and am also trained in Western Acupuncture. I was fortunate enough to be selected as a Sports Massage Practitioner at the London 2012 Olympics and worked hard ironing out all the aches and pains pre and post competition on a wide variety of athletes. It was an amazing experience and taught me so much about elite sport and how I can apply and build my own skills to offer the best treatment possible to my clients. I have also trained as a Pilates instructor and offer 1:1 sessions with clients as well as running classes which can be aimed at specific needs or skills you want to develop or just as a great way to get fit, have fun and relax.

Back from mum service tomorrow 😵‍💫! Hopefully I have managed to get back to everyone who is waiting for replies, my diary is almost full for April and I'm working flat out to try and squeeze in emergencies but please shout if you haven't heard from me!!!

Not sure why religious holidays lead me with the primary aim of offering more calories than we burn off at Pilates but an egg-celent last class of this term 🥚🐇 ! I hope no one's eggs were too squished from being used as props!

If you want to come along and see what weird and wonderful ideas I have to help you move your body to become stronger, more balanced, more supple and manage those aches and pains I have a few spaces in the next 6 week block of classes starting on 16th April!

Barney is a bit gutted he can't fit on my treatment couch even though he is teenie tiny! But I do have space TODAY (31st) at 3pm for a human that can fit!

Just my favourite time of year to work with horses (especially when your allergic 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️) so I'm running away for a week to bring my histamine response back down and search for some sun!

I will be away from 3rd - 13th April but am then fully booked until 20th April. I am running a cancellation list for anyone in need and will try my hardest to fit in emergencies where I can! In the meantime keep the curry combs out and save my sinuses 🤣🤧

JKG Physiotherapy in the wild 🥳! Great time at Eastleigh 10k running with 2 clients who absolutely smashed their first event at this distance👏🏼! What a pleasure to run with such great company in the sunshine 🥰

Then super proud mum moment with Oliver enjoying his first attempt at running and absolutely smashing the fun run finishing amongst kids with much longer legs 🤣 even more impressive with a burst ear drum and a massive head wound...just shows that we can do what we set out to achieve despite some obstacles 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

📢 Access for human and canine appointments 📢

I will only be accessible from the Shirrel Heath/Shedfield end of Pricketts Hill for the next 2 weeks. We expect no access from the Wickham side so please plan ahead 🥴.

If coming from Fareham/Wickham end easiest route will be to continue on Wi******er Road and turn down High Street at Shedfield.

The road will say closed but please continue as we have access rights!!

It's not often I let clients lick me on the face (luckily not many of my human ones try!) but when you're this cute you can get away with pretty much whatever you want 😍!

Just a puppy intro and check for this stunner and so lovely to work with proactive owners who want to start with the best paw forward for their young superstars 🤩!

A rare sight...sunshine and Brody decided to come to work! More of this please we are both solar powered for sure 🙌🏼!
A few things to remember before we all get carried away after a few dry days!
🐢If your horse has had a reduced workload over this AWFUL winter then bring back to work gently and slowly, I'm always happy to advise if needed. Their body will not thank you for going from 0-100!
🌱 The grass will be coming through so keep an eye out for any laminitis signs and introduce new grazing gradually...it's going to be a shock to their system
🧥 Rug appropriately for weather and coat changes - yes be prepared to change multiple times a day 🤣
⚖️ monitor your horse's weight through the season change with body condition scoring, weigh tapes or make use of weigh bridges to ensure diet and exercise management are balanced

Most of all enjoy the end of winter, I for sure can't wait to see it clear off 🖕🏼🤷🏼‍♀️

Everyday at JKG Physio is but today celebrates it officially! I feel so lucky to be trusted by so many of you to help your pets feel their best, recover from injury or age gracefully so thank you I really do think they are all so special 🥰

Today we celebrated with the first walk to nursery of the year taking advantage of some dry daylight🙌🏼, Brody leader of the pack as always and looking forward to some warmer drier adventures soon 💙
